The Defender is well-made with a very good fit my iPhone 5s.

I could NOT agree with ANY of the negative comments about the Defender although admittedly I only had this version for about a day and could not comment on durability (other than to say the Defender protecting my iPhone 4s held up extremey well, but was also uncomfortable and I now know why)
