OtterBox once again does a great job with their phone cases, highly recommend the defender series.

The belt clip broke (second otterbox I had do this) after 2 weeks.

This suppose to be a real otterbox defender case and it is not

I love OtterBox, but they missed the mark somewhat on this one.

To bulking and the plastic cover to protect the screen is difficult to text or call someone you have to press really hard or keep hitting the letters or numbers for it to work it’s to stiff and thick but the case it’s self will protect your phone.

It is basically a hard cover that layers the whole phone (including the screen) that is then covered by an additional silicone like cover

I scratched the screen cover, called otter box, and they sent me a new one ASAP

Third one of these I have bought, Keep breaking the holster

Belt holster and clip so far good and solid, durable, which is an issue I was having with other cases.

Holster is also convenient, if bulkiness can be accepted.

But since the holster is totally unreliable and it is part of the purchase I gave it 4 stars

I felt it stretched out of shape too fast rubber got loose first time this has happened seems like the quality has dropped!

The rubber is very loose around the inner plastic case after less than 1 year of use.

The loose rubber also creates weird loud popping noises on videos

Bought for the protection aspect, however the outside rubber protective cover no longer fits properly as it is clearly larger that the plastic case it goes around

By the second month the rubber that this is encased in was loose in various parts.

I have dropped my phone numerous times and this phone does not break w/ this case over the phone.

This is a durable case, but it does have a few design flaws

The only design flaw that I don't like about these cases is the flaps that open for the charging port and the headphone jack.

When the phone is being used by either, the flaps are rigid enough that they are constantly pushing on the cords.

While it still protects the phone very well after a couple of weeks the flaps for the headphones and charger become extremely loose

What I don't like (and this is probably due more to the phone design) are the bottom flaps for the charger and the headphones.

The belt clip seems silly at first but we’ve both come to use it regularly.

I hacked off the belt clip from the holster with a dremel tool, stuck it onto my car dash with good double-sided tape, and now I have an AWESOME car mount that handles the phone with the case on!!!

my jeans stained the edges of the case blue when I put it in my back pocket and the plastic on the screen got a large scratch on it (I only had a couple items in my hand at the time and it shouldn't scratched it

The edges of the case make moving app icons to different screens difficult, as well as pulling down the settings menu from the top nearly impossible

Instead of having a solid edge that one side of the phone parks in, like the Galaxy S3 holster had, this holster has two corners.

Its a drop proof case, but when it comes to working in a dusty environment the case traps the dust and dirt between the screen protector and screen, making using the keyboard imposible and scratching the screen.
