Great sound, maybe not as loud as I would have liked, but solid range (lows, mids, and highs). The single button on the ear doesn't work properly with all devices though
These work perfectly in my ski helmet, volume has good dynamic range, very easy to be too loud

It is a universal fit and fit my helmet to a T. Very comfortable and easy assembly
The jack doesn't fit as snug as it should into the iPhone which causes some distortion and/or some funky things to go on with playback.
Only thing bad is that sometimes I get confused on how to change the song because you have to press the button a certain amount of times
I think that that is a good thing, he spends too much time with headphones in his ears so at least I know he can't crank these too much.
The best thing to be said about this is that it doesn't have a terrible sound system--clear, allows for attention to outside noises, but nothing to write home about
It became VERY sensitive to how it was positioned to get any sound at all and sounded terrible when it did work.
The sound from the 2" diameter Chips® was pretty good, depending on the song and genre, and the controllers worked well, just as indicated in the instructions
They sent me a new wire and they have worked well since
I use it for skiing and few electronics work well below 15 F, which was why I bought these wired ones
Used them about a month and the buttons stopped working, as well as the wires shorting out often

No volume control on the actual ears either which essentially defeats the purpose of the integrated helmet earphone
Also limits the volume of the speakers.
The volume could be a little louder though.
The highest volume is plenty loud and leaks some sound (others sitting on the lift could hear music) but I wouldn't expect to have it that loud other than for testing the limits of the speakers
I like to raise the volume when I ride down the slopes and they are essentially loud speakers so now I've become my most dreaded nightmare, a modern day Brixton briefcase bub
The speakers are situated off of the ears instead of right against them, which makes sense for safety reasons
The speakers can go quite loud, but I like to hear the speed demons before they crash into me, so I don't use them at anywhere near max volume.
The right speaker chip was not functioning for the entire day as I continually tested it
I have a big head so these speakers seemed a bit bulky and pressed down my ears all day which later became sore
No more discomfort from ear buds tucked under my helmet ear flaps
I'm used to in-ear earbuds (cheap ones, not the pricey stuff) that make me wince at the highest volume
Worked great, ear touch controls very effective, and fit my ski helmet perfect.
Worked great, ear touch controls very effective, and fit my ski helmet perfect.
First, I set up the volume on my phone AND using the volume control dial on the wire (volume is not set using the control button on the right ear piece)
I was kind of hoping for ear-splitting heavy-bass power, but even with all the volume controls all the way
While the cable was working the sound quality as well as controls were great
In fact, I would worry about anyone playing this at full volume for any length of time (hearing damage being, of course, cumulative). The controls, however, are the great weakness of this device
Worked great, ear touch controls very effective, and fit my ski helmet perfect.
The controls on the line seem cheap and the volume dial is tiny.
