It took almost 5 minutes to boil the minimum amount of water and 10+ minutes to boil the maximum

I usually fill it to the minimum line and it only takes about 5 minutes to boil

It is slow: more than 6 minutes for 1liter, it is spilling water when you try to pour some.

Takes forever to boil, 10-12 minutes for 1.7 l of tap water and not much quicker with just a couple cups--disappointed !

It's cheap and nice looking, but it takes 7 minutes to boil 1 L of water, which is very very slow

My last kettle took only four minutes to boil 1.75 L !!!

I have used electric kettles for years and when my ten year old Philips started to leak I was horrified and worried that I could not find one that would meet the superior standard of my old one

Took a while for the outgas-smell to go away, but it works & I like the color.
