The crew at work love this pot.

The plastic never gets hot, the pot is easy to keep locked up in my large metal desk drawer (nothing else goes in there), and I never worry about a fire, overheating or electrical hazard

I absolutely loved my hot pot

A full pot boils in less than 4 minutes and if you are just trying to make cup noodles (college diet like me) than you only need to fill it halfway and the water will boil in less than 2 minutes

I could gather twigs, light a fire with a piece of flint, build a tripod and hang a pot of water from it and this, my friends, would boil sooner than this kettle

Heats the water to boiling very fast and no more pot on the stove all day

the water heats up fast however the pot is not cool to touch

I bought this great little water heating pot

so now we are back to the old stove top tea pot.

When he lifted it off the base, the pot was leaking like a sieve

We loved the Ovente pot, until it died 364 days after we bought it

this one still works fine an even heats insulated pot

This was a great little pot until the tab holding the lid on broke off (photo)

My other pots do not have the off taste, so I doubt it is the water.

This is an outstanding little electric pot

The 1st kettle lasted almost 3 years, that is with daily use of boiling hot water, multiple times a day for making tea, coffee, hot cocoa, or adding boiling water to a mid-cooking recipe, or any other household needs like hot water to mop floor, scrub kitchen counters, soak/dissolve greasy pots

The pot suddenly stopped working after less than nine months of use.

I tried to use only filtered water, About half way through its lifetime, I boiled half a pot of vinegar and the rest water to get rid of the calcium buildup

This pot works well for a great price

The pot is separate from the base so when you pick up the pot, no worries with the cord and base.

The outside of the carafe became too hot to touch, after boiling a full pot
