Very easy to operate, and a nice stainless steel interior (from what I can observe) keeps it feeling "fresh" every time I refill with more water.

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash to get a glass or stainless steel kettle -- unless of course, you LIKE your water to taste like plastic.

gave water a nasty taste,button on lid broke after 3 days rendering the kettle completely usless .very bad quality.had to throw it away and get a more expensive stainless steel kettle.

Just to put it out there, the inside of the pot is not 100% insulated with stainless steel (only the bottom of the pot is steel)

it had two small rust spots on the heating element inside the pot, it looks like it is some kind of stainless steel coating that wore off after one heating exposing the metal underneath the broken coating and causing rust.

If I could do it again I'd spend the few extra bucks for a stainless steel kettle...never had this issue with those.

I do not like the stainless steel ones as they get hot and rust, so hopefully now I have solved my problem and I won't have to use the new one that just arrived.

If it is stainless steel they are using then it must not be very pure and must have a high carbon content.

It's cheap and nice looking, but it takes 7 minutes to boil 1 L of water, which is very very slow

My last kettle took only four minutes to boil 1.75 L !!!
