This is true the hot plate does not need more than a damp paper towel when it comes to cleaning

You would think that the hot plate is heavy based on the picture, but it is actually supper light

It won’t look as clean as the single unit on the counter but let’s be honest, if you’re primary method of cooking at home is a hot plate, you probably aren’t impressing anyone anyway.

I did notice that if the hot plate gets too hot the burner will stop, but it will still be on

This is a fantastic handy cooker

Never thought I would like a smooth top cooker, but this is beyond my wildest dreams

Fast and easy cooker but one of the top stoves stopped working less than a year after purchase.

The glass top is way easier to clean and radiates heat better.

After using it for just two days, the bigger glass top scattered

Unfortunately this only worked for two months and then one of the glass tops just cracked while I was cooking

Woke up next morning and the glass top of the large burner had exploded, pieces of glass everywhere.

This is actually a fantastic burner stove, easy use, easy cleanup, great for traveling, like for truckers or campers

Overall took about 30 minutes to cook the whole meal and I was able to keep them warm using the lowest setting on the dials

I bought this as a gift for my grandmother, since she doesn't feel comfortable using the gas stove in our new house

Not all the numbers are on the dials and what are there wipe off within a week's use leaving you blind as to the heat amount.

If anyone’s stove stops working, it is great to have this product in the kitchen, so you can still cook at home

Now I can’t even tell what temperature my food is cooking on because there is no way to know what temperature this stupid thing is set on

One thing I've noticed is that the left plate works better than the right

Small burner stop working after two weeks of using product of course the return policy had expired

The shipment was received on time, the burner is working very well as expected

It has worked consistently well in daily use for the six months I have owned this cooktop

But worst of all, it is not a safe cooking device since it it wobbles on a flat countertop

It heats up very fast, and very hot provides an easy-to-use device that does not take much to place & start using and eventually gives excellent cooking results as soon as you get used to it

Only thing I don't like is that it has a Auto turn off when it gets to hot, I get that it's a safety thing, but just trying to boil/cook some pasta takes a looooong time because it will get to a boil, then Auto turn off stop boilin, then Auto turn back on boils the water again, then turns off stops boiling, ext ext

It may become a little problematic after a month or two, but nothing that would really damage your cooking

The numbers on the 2 dials wear off almost instantly and there is a horrible chemical smell still emitting from the unit after 6 months

There was also a noticeable chemical smell

and it took FOREVER to boil a pot of water.

It boils pot of water relatively quick

Have put heavy pots like 3/4 quarts pots on it and it holds ok, the glass didn’t crack

I have tried to use this, and basically it just doesn't get hot enough to properly boil a 1 quart pot of water

Using 2 pots or a fry pan and a pot was very difficult because they were hanging over the edges.

The smaller burner I use less and only to boil water for tea, my hands always dry, the numbers HAVE NOT faded yet

Someone who needs an extra burner or two, once or twice a year, to boil water

But that went away and its a generally great product - boils water with no problem, maintains temperature well, and seems sturdy
