Best of all, the canister is stainless steel and static free.
The ground coffee doesn't stick to the stainless steel container much at all.
The stainless steel cup the ground coffee falls into does not hold a static charge, so no mess
The ground coffee receiver is nicely made stainless steel but the exit hole in its plastic lid sometimes restricts the grounds so it doesn't empty completely and the restricted grounds are not visible.
n’t drain water thru the filter where the coffee grounds are
His machine is a perfect value, works great at a very fair price.
Appearance is good, the footprint is small, and the price seems reasonable.
There are definitely better, more expensive grinders out there but this is a great option for this price range and a huge improvement over blade grinders/pre-ground coffee.
This grinder is an over priced worthless piece of junk
I’ve only had it for a short time but it seems like a great little appliance at a reasonable price point
After a couple days' use, I can declare that (a) my French press coffee's flavor has been enhanced significantly; (b) the learning curve for this grinder is about five minutes; (c) the grinding process is mess-free (see my little secret below); and (d) cleaning this grinder is easy
The stainless steel cup the ground coffee falls into does not hold a static charge, so no mess
It often imparts a static electricity charge to the ground coffee which makes it scatter or cling to the stainless steel container into which the ground coffee is deposited
Some varieties of beans develop more static charge than others, but no grounds fly out when the top is removed, and the stainless canister is a snap to rinse and dry
Holding the cup while grinding seams to ease the static charge
This grinder greatly improved my brew over the blade grinders I have used for decades
If you want to make cold brew, just have your local coffee shop grind beans for you
The reasonably-priced Oxo Brew grinder was simple to use, and the coffee from it tasted great
Have been very satisfied so far with the OXO BREW Conical Burr Coffee Grinder.
With the OXO 8717000 BREW Conical Burr Coffee Grinder, I like to grind the equivalent of 2 plastic coffee containers from previous brands off the shelf (I reuse those containers
So my question is why am I getting (so far) decent results with this OXO grinder when it seems about half of the reviews, including most pro reviews, say this grinder is not for espresso grind?
Great grinder for my family’s
Have seen others clog bad especially making fine espresso grind

It does not have any problem with static electricity and always produces a consistent grind of coffee.
lidBut it does collect coffee by static electricity cling
It was always noisy, grounds were always the same no matter how you adjusted it, and the coffee grinds stuck and flew around the plastic container due to static electricity
Dependable, relatively quiet operation - excellent static electricity handling.
