It does a wonderful job of grinding coffee but is a bit noisy and depending the size of the grind you choose, it can be kinda messy because of a static charge on the receiving metal cup
-
Our previous grinders each were subject to annoying static charge that made grounds go everywhere.
-
Some varieties of beans develop more static charge than others, but no grounds fly out when the top is removed, and the stainless canister is a snap to rinse and dry
-
The stainless steel, grounded grounds cup really does reduce fly away coffee caused by static charge from grinding.
-
Holding the cup while grinding seams to ease the static charge
-
It is relatively quiet and the receptacle is stainless steel so it doesn't hold a static charge like the plastic ones in my prior versions

And the lack of static charge in the grounds is great.

It often imparts a static electricity charge to the ground coffee which makes it scatter or cling to the stainless steel container into which the ground coffee is deposited

The stainless steel cup the ground coffee falls into does not hold a static charge, so no mess
-
Have not had much problem with static charge holding grinds to catch container, maybe because we're not grinding beans as fine.
-
By it being made of metal it doesn’t have a static charge that causes the grounds to go all over your counter when you remove the container.
-
I eventually had to have Amex dispute the charge, which they did

After a couple days' use, I can declare that (a) my French press coffee's flavor has been enhanced significantly; (b) the learning curve for this grinder is about five minutes; (c) the grinding process is mess-free (see my little secret below); and (d) cleaning this grinder is easy
-
I do think if it were a plastic container it would be much, much worse as with other brands I’ve tried
-
so I grind medium course and only grind as much as I need (about 5 seconds).
-
This machine works as it is supposed to
-
so I will review it for that as well as for grinding coffee.
-
The grinder is doesn't feel as solid as

Noisy as

I can't speak to a fine espresso ground as I don't make espresso.
-
Love that you can pour in a weeks’ worth of beans into the hopper and grind as you go.
-
Works great as in beans are ground to the same consistency.
-
It's mess-free and works as it is described in the Amazon product description.

Let's say I measure out and grind 15g of beans
