If I was looking for an all around grinder then I would purchase the Breville smart conical grinder again because it does a great job for several variations of grinds

I spent a few days researching coffee grinders and came to two conclusions: getting one under $100 that does a very good job and is well-built isn't really possible, and this Oxo was consistently the one recommended for those not looking to spend more than $100.I just received this and started using it today, but I'd like to get some preliminary thoughts out there.

It does a wonderful job of grinding coffee but is a bit noisy and depending the size of the grind you choose, it can be kinda messy because of a static charge on the receiving metal cup

I'm just grinding for a drip maker, so I can't speak to the fine expresso grinds, but it does a wonderful job for my medium-grind needs
