OXO Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

    • Good machine for the price.
    • The machine works MUCH better with the oilier dark-roast I normally use
    • I love the grind selection ring and how solid it feels - honestly can't imagine a better machine without forking over hundreds for an industrial unit
    • I don't what what people are saying about positive reviews and a free machine
    • I've cleaned the machine
    • if these break, the machines dont work- without the containers inserted firmly!
    • But if you want to grind just enough for single pot, press or dose you can't because you never know when the machine is going to clog and throw off your measure
    • Once that happens, the machine won't grind any more coffee beans
    • The machine isn't overheating (unless it overheats in a few seconds)
    • Great machine at a great priceOnly down
    • So far the first month has been flawless, its a compact machine and aesthetically complementary.
    • Great machine!
    • When I contacted OXO they informed me that "this machine isn't designed to grind dark roasted beans."
    • Add a comment if you have had good/bad experience grinding for espresso and ever choked an espresso machine with this grinder.
    • The machine is almost impossible to clean after usage.
    • it worked like a charm, albeit the machine was loud (to be expected) and the timer start function lasts at MOST 30 seconds (disappointing because it requires at least 1:30 min to fill up the collection bucket)
    • To clean or completely empty the grinder of grounds it is necessary to run the grinder empty and then to shake the machine.
    • Now on the next grinds everything worked fine, it was one of the best espresso grinding machines I have had
    • I love this machine and highly recommend it.
    • After only a month and a half of working properly, the machine failed to turn on when I pressed the button
    • Don't know how durable this machine is yet as we have only had it for one month.
    • I found that I have to tip the machine forward and slap it a few times (like burping a baby) to get all of the grinds out.
    • I promise you will hate this machine.
    • Machine also stays clean
    • This machine grinds the beans seemingly just as well so far as my other higher priced coffee grinders.
    • In listening to reviews, people were complaining that it was not super even and probably couldn't do fancy espresso machines, but the reviews and photos in them were telling a much different story.
    • I love this machine
    • The machine has never required cleaning after a month of daily use, and I prefer my beans to have an oily sheen.
    • This is a cute quiet machine that works great
    • Love their coffee machine too
    • That machine grinds at a little over a minute for our 12 cup machine, always produces a decent, rich cup of coffee
    • I hear nothing, and then another 3 weeks later I get a nice email from customer service telling me to please purchase these products and clean your machine
    • The grounds don't stick to is nearly as bad as machines with plastic containers.
    • I prefer a fine grind and this little machine has yet to fail me
    • It's really annoying to have to clean out the machine every single day, and on some days it does not work at all even though all parts are cleaned according to their manual and with the brushes they recommended to buy
    • Ground coffee got stuck in the innards and jammed the machine
    • The machine is attractive (if utilitarian) on the countertop.
    • it worked like a charm, albeit the machine was loud (to be expected) and the timer start function lasts at MOST 30 seconds (disappointing because it requires at least 1:30 min to fill up the collection bucket)
    • My machine is not grinding anymore
    • Instead this machine sprayed coffee dust all over the kitchen, and gummed up almost immediately.
    • Other than that it’s a pretty good machine.
    • Otherwise great machine - 4/5 stars!
    • I would then replace the burrs and run the machine to grind anything that fell in
    • I’ve cleaned my machine before and this is clearly not a cleaning issue
    • I began an hour or so of intensive online research looking for grinders that addressed these issues and ended up landing on a professional $400 machine that would have looked pretty pretentious on the kitchen counter, took up too much room, and cost way way too much, as nice a machine as it was (can't remember the name).
    • Love this machine, works great, easy to clean
    • I was loving this machine until I tried to grind my dark roast beans.
    • We loved this simple, small machine at first
    • The fine grind at number 1 seems much finer and more consistent that the other machine.
    • This machine is terrible
    • It’s not the noisiest machine or the quietist, but it’s not bad.
    • I cleaned the machine thoroughly and more than once
    • The machine isn't overheating (unless it overheats in a few seconds)
    • I did some reviews before buying this highly recommended machine
    • Love this machine, works great, easy to clean
    • I am learning to love this machine
    • Today, the machine stopped grinding.
    • Perhaps I just got two faulty machines, but whatever, I'm done with this coffee grinder
    • This machine is way quieter than anything I've owned.
    • Great coffee grinder machine
    • THIS THING is a beautifully quiet machine.
    • Very solid machine.
    • Very high cleaning maintenance machine
    • I love this machine and the stainless cup it grinds in to
    • Basically, the machine is kaput less than two months after warranty expired.
    • The only downside is that the finest setting is still a tad course for my Gaggia Classic espresso machine.
    • We just made the switch to non instant coffee, and this machine is not loud at all
    • Note the manual does say oily beans will clog the machine but the description on Amazon doesn't say NOT FOR FRENCH ROAST OR EXPRESSO ROAST
    • My machine has stopped working after 6 months
    • What a pain in the arse this machine is.
    • The fine grind at number 1 seems much finer and more consistent that the other machine.
    • Otherwise, a fine little machine.
    • Wish they could ship us a new one to test and see if it's a defective machine that we have.
    • After only 36 days and light usage this machine failed.
    • I purchased 5/15/21 and as of 8/20/21 the machine no longer grinds.
    • Solid machine, best bang for your buck!
    • The machine has been kept clean
    • Highly recommend this machine.
    • The machine is relatively quiet and it’s very easy to use.
    • Strong well-made machine
    • I purchased this in early 2019 and this machine is still going strong
    • This machine works as it is supposed to
    • His machine is a perfect value, works great at a very fair price.
    • Not a well designed machine
    • I would recommend, but remember to clean the shute, I recommend the cleaning crystals, they work well and its easier to clean out the machine.
    • For all the questions on noise - this is not a quiet machine
    • I do think if it were a plastic container it would be much, much worse as with other brands I’ve tried
    • so I grind medium course and only grind as much as I need (about 5 seconds).
    • This machine works as it is supposed to
    • so I will review it for that as well as for grinding coffee.
    • The grinder is doesn't feel as solid as
    • Noisy as
    • I can't speak to a fine espresso ground as I don't make espresso.
    • Love that you can pour in a weeks’ worth of beans into the hopper and grind as you go.
    • Works great as in beans are ground to the same consistency.
    • It's mess-free and works as it is described in the Amazon product description.
    • After a couple days' use, I can declare that (a) my French press coffee's flavor has been enhanced significantly; (b) the learning curve for this grinder is about five minutes; (c) the grinding process is mess-free (see my little secret below); and (d) cleaning this grinder is easy
    • And an added bonus is that I grind exactly as much coffee as I
