OXO Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

    • Great unit for the price.
    • This unit worked great.
    • element heated up and burnt unit out overnight.
    • and I would say compares with much more expensive units.
    • It makes noise, but it's not harsh or too loud--quite tolerable and only a fraction as loud as the other, evil unit
    • I would recommend this unit.
    • I returned the defective unit
    • So for the cost of having to replace the whole unit almost every year, I would go to a cheaper unit that has to be replaced every year
    • So when it comes to basic function, it's a great unit
    • I followed the manual's instructions for taking the unit apart and cleaning it, and I found nothing that should have caused the problem
    • Unit is feels very solid and like all the OXO items I
    • In fact, it looks like the entire unit is discontinued now
    • This is a great unit.
    • I like the product unfortunately the unit stopped working.
    • On prior expensive unit, I used to hold cone under grind chute to go directly into cone filter without having to go into any kind of cup
    • Of people who think this unit is quite good
    • The settings are easy to use, and the unit overall seems very solid.
    • It's a great unit.
    • The unit I purchased worked great for 5 weeks then stopped working.
    • The unit is easy to use, clearly labeled and is not hard to adjust between grind levels
    • If you like to spend a lot more time dumping out the bean container, removing the upper burr, and de-clogging the chute than you spend grinding and making coffee, this is the unit for you.
    • Here I am with a grinder that only grinds for 2 seconds and customer service that does not want to take responsibility for a defective unit
    • We purchased this unit because it was specifically recommended as a good value by the NY Times.
    • The unit is very easy to take apart for cleaning.
    • Though this unit works very well and has a lot of different grind selections it is messier than previous grinders I have owned.
    • (in another state), I was eventually told that yes, mine was definitely one of the new, improved units
    • the unit grinds coffee very well
    • Or you can turn the unit upside down, and try to shake/tap out the unit, but this may also be bad for the mechanism's longevity
    • I definitely recommend this unit.
    • This is a great unit and grinds exactly like
    • This unit is sooo... much quieter
    • The unit started clogging up a few days ago, this continued even after thoroughly cleaning it... after it happening numerous times the unit then stopped working all together
    • The unit is sturdy and larger than I anticipated, but it works like a charm
    • Since I've had no problem with the grinder over the past nine months, the smattering of poor reviews due to product failure have me wondering whether Oxo has a quality-control problem on its assembly line that produces mostly good units, and a few not so good.
    • This is a compact unit - you can't do a whole bag of coffee in one shot
    • This unit is very quiet and will produce precise amounts of ground coffee using the timer button
    • The unit started clogging up a few days ago, this continued even after thoroughly cleaning it... after it happening numerous times the unit then stopped working all together
    • Great unit for the price!
    • This unit works well
    • This is a great unit and grinds exactly like
    • The unit, in my opinion, is not worth buying
    • They sent me a new unit and so far so good
    • Regardless of the grind issue (mine or the Oxo's) this unit seems like a winner, and meets my expectations based upon the various reviews I read over the prior weekend.
    • And an added bonus is that I grind exactly as much coffee as I
    • n’t drain water thru the filter where the coffee grounds are
