OXO On Barista Brain 9 Cup Coffee Maker (8710100)

    • From the dial the user can set a brew timer, set the correct time, and initiate the brew cycle.
    • When i pressed the oxo button for selecting and saving the current time, the coffee maker saved the time for like 3 hours, then the clock went haywire, it jumped from the correct time to like 15 hours and a few minutes ahead of time
    • The clicking noise is now there almost all the time when I brew coffee
    • but I have to clean up after the drip section will leak every time
    • I originally got it free for testing purposes and so when I needed to fill a tub with over 35 gallons of coffee, it seemed the perfect time to use it
    • I've been using mine daily for almost 1.5 years, and it's been excellent each time
    • I will not clean up my counter every time I pour a cup of coffee and don't expect to when I pay $200 for a coffee maker
    • so boiling water, weighing beans, and standing there slowly pouring water over the grounds is often too time-consuming and messy
    • Now my current time is loss and so is any sort of scheduling I have
    • My only complaint is that the clear water reservoir, which looks very cool and lends to the overall sleek appearance of the coffeemaker, is unfortunately clouded by condensation every time we use it
    • This intelligence in the OXO also allows it to periodically add more water, letting each cycle of water mingle with your coffee for the right time, drain down a little, then it introduces more
    • This made the tank smell, and several times the coffee ended up smelling and once even tasting of mildew.
    • I rec'd it from Influenster complimentary for review and it was perfect timing because I hated my old one
    • I rec'd it from Influenster complimentary for review and it was perfect timing because I hated my old one
    • So, every time you grind the coffee, you lose the time setting on the clock
    • - it doesn't keep time well
    • I don't understand why they are advertising that you can select 2-4 or 5-9 even though it brews the entire tank every time...this product is a waste of money and will be returned soon.
    • Lost control of setting brew start time
    • It is easy to setup and program and the coffee it brews is consistent every time!
    • Pre warming increases hot time
    • This one came at the right time
    • I used less coffee grounds this time as well.
    • if you bump it, the time changes
    • and it's perfect every time
    • I'm so much of a snob that I have a hard time admitting that this machine is good
    • The time settings reset and blink every time you use another appliance on the same outlet, the carafe drips like crazy when it pours, and mine stops in mid-cycle and needs to be restarted after 1 year of use
    • other times it just leaks a few drops, but this essentially means you have to constantly be wiping up spilled coffee every single time you use it
    • The clock was broken and therefore doesn't keep proper time.
    • Nicely timed cycle
    • But to open either the water refill top, or to access the brew basket to insert a filer and coffee, I need to pull the coffeemaker each time to the edge of the countertop, so that it can clear the cabinets above
    • And, it stays hot in the carafe for hours without any concern of burned coffee or forgetting to turn off the machine when you leave (because those auto-shut off features always shut off at the worst times anyway)I would highly recommend this product and am excited to share it with my friends and family too!Love,Mister Culverlake
    • I wash the basket stop every time I use it, still leaks
    • it may cause a tiny change in current and this results in this coffee maker losing time on its clock
    • Easy to use, makes good coffee, and the carafe keeps it warm a good long time (especially if you preheat it but even if you don't)
    • other critique may be cleaning the reservoir or mildew, I'm sure there's sponges with handles or all natural solution you can use to soak/clean the inside and run a few times with water to clear
    • Coffee tastes great but for what it cost, and the time it takes me to clean up after each brew, they should fix this problem.
    • We HAVE only had it a short time and so far we love it.
    • The machine, however, smells musty all the time
    • I've gotten a compliment on it every time someone comes into my kitchen
    • Almost every time, when I remove the container to pour myself a cup of coffee, the basket leaks coffee EVERYWHERE
    • The last thing I needed was yet another kitchen device displaying the incorrect time whenever it gets unplugged.
    • My cuisinart coffee maker broke after 3 years, so it was perfect timing that influenster sent me this one to try
    • This is the second time I purchase this product and it just fails very quickly
    • Literally, on a daily basis i have to set the time, its crazy.
    • I previously said it was a few ounces, but I measured the water a few times, and I corrected it to one ounce
    • Other times it leaks a few drops
    • Coffee was lukewarm each time, colder than the 8 year old Cuisinsrt I was replacing
    • I've used the machine---well, many times already in the short time we've had it, and I've been thrilled with it.
    • I have found that once the brewing process is over and a little time has passed (enough for the maker to cool down), I just lift the top and let it air dry
    • and I'm performing math without the aid of coffee...let's see I have 7 cups of water in the reservoir, but only want 4 cups of coffee...if I brew without any grounds and monitor the situation closely I can dump out three cups of hot water and start the process over, but this time with coffee grounds!
    • It still makes those clicking noises, although not every time
    • It was making a big mess every time I removed the carafe
    • Even though my previous coffee maker was a 12 cup maker and this one is a 9 cup, I find you need to use more coffee in order to get a more full flavor because if the water going in through the shower head style design, so there is some trial and error the first few times you use it
    • The coffee carafe itself keeps the brewed coffee warm for quite a bit if you want to take it off the machine and bring it to a table or desk (if you work from home, as I
