It has a good size, not too big, not to small and the design is perfect

This carrier is the perfect size for my Senegal Parrot.

You set your bird on the perch, and hope they don't just climb out onto the wall while you lift a giant plastic lid over their heads and settle it down carefully on the very flimsy plastic walls - hoping your finger's don't slip on their grip through the sharp edged holes and thus knock your poor bird on the head.

it gets the job done as a bucket with holes, but it's certainly not a good long-term solution or convenient at all, especially if you're bird doesn't like it

I ended up just going out and buying one of the small dog carriers in about the same size as this, made out of a far thicker plastic and a secure handle with a wonderful wide, wiiiide metal door that is easy to fit my parrot through.
