I flipped the screws around so the nuts are on the inside and replaced the nuts/boltswith Stainless - but the antenna works great and the cable was plenty long

for some reason it does not receive a full signal and consequently tends to cut out under bridges or next to tall solid objects/ my previous antenna received better but it had its own issues.

Biggest pile of crap I ever bought, other guys at work have the older model and love, horrible signal reception, the little magnetic antenna it replaced was better, only redeeming quality is the ability to disconnect wire from antenna, that way someone can steal it while your sleeping, fat chance that will happen, I should have spent the extra money and bought another TERK

By mounting this well forward on the hood I get good reception no matter what direction I'm travelling in.

This mounts on ANY mirror strut, even the narrow/thinner ones

Have it on a 09 ultra classic mounted it on the handlebars.

This is a great antenna when it is working, loses its signal just out of the clear blue
