I've had Lumix for years and loved the size and convenience and wonderful quality of the pictures.
Considering photo quality, features, extreme compact size, excellent shockproof and weather-resistant qualities AND a price that won't break your budget I would put this camera at the top of your short list of everyday fun cameras that you will want to take with you
Love the size and that it is waterproof but have not downloaded pic yet so not sure how they will turn out.
I do like the smaller size as it fits in any pocket with ease.
It's good enough for 5x7 inch prints, but I think you'd have to have a nice outdoor shot of something with medium contrast to look good on a larger print
It was indoors and maybe the lighting was not good enough for a better shot.
Overall this is not an intuitive quick draw point-and-shoot and the buttons are too small
also it's why I used burst so didn't have to wait for the one perfect shot
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the images on this camera as a 4, the images on an iPhone 5s as a 5, on a Canon S100 as a 7.5 (surprisingly good for a compact point and shoot), and on a Lumix FZ1000 as a 9.
From the small form factor to the logical one-door design to (most importantly) the quality of the pictures this camera holds it own - and at the current price point south of one and a half Benjamins it is a great deal; the other waterproof cameras in my comparison were more than twice the price when purchased!Overall, highly recommended especially considering the competitive price!
I got this and it is the worst p&s 1.233 sensor size picture quality camera i have
After reviewing many different models and reading tons of Reviews, I feel this Panasonic meets everything I was looking for, and the price is quite reasonable.
The image quality is not as good as other point and shoots

The only thing I would warn a potential purchaser about is that the directions on how to handle the camera after it goes under water (an attractive selling point for vacationing) are full of caveats, including one where it's suggested to avoid opening it after under water use on a beach (because you have to let out seepage, but you might get sand in)
It's a sweet little product that has met every expectation
Panasonic DMC-TS30R LUMIX Active Lifestyle Tough Camera (Red)arrived in a timely manner, the product is very good
Im so frustrated because this camera was purchased in advance to use the last week of this month June 2015 and the product failed on the second day of use in less than 3ft of water and now the return policy has expired
I got this and it is the worst p&s 1.233 sensor size picture quality camera i have
Optical zoom mechanism is inside the camera, which means you don't have to worry about bumping the lens while it's out (which also greatly reduces the likelihood that you'll have a fatal lens error, the death of all my previous cameras).
