The phone works well for us - voice announcement of who is calling (with caller ID), large print to read, and adequate voice level.
For anyone with a hearing problem, this phone works extremely well
The battery life has been great; the audible caller ID is more convenient than I predicted (great if you're not sure you want to run for the phone); the memory feature is easy to use, and it just plain works.

This has been the most frustrating phone system I have ever dealt with

This a great phone system for my eighty-six year old mother
The one I bought locally is plenty loud even without boost and EQ.Not sure what Panasonic is thinking on this, unless it's a power saving method or avoidance of legal risk for hearing loss, but it spoiled this otherwise good phone system.
They were shipped DHL and delivery was not as fast as in the states, but I am very happy.
Makes background noise which we can not seem to correct and can not turn off unknown caller to receiver caller.
The phone has a bit of an echo and seems to pick up a LOT of background noise that people on the other end can hear very clearly.

I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG6592T cordless telephone for my elderly, somewhat deaf neighbor because she has only one phone jack but was having a hard time hearing the telephone ring when she was in the kitchen
However, t will not definitely buy it again or recommend it to any hearing impaired.
He has the hardest time hearing on the phone and saw the great reviews of this product, I wanted to help him out
It just looks like it would keep the time you set on the phone.

A voice announces the caller ID out loud whenever the phone rings
Volume cannot be turned up that high for a hearing impaired person
after putting in all my numbers in the directory, the most important number would not dial the person I needed to contact, the operator would say the circuit was busy and try again later--it never called the number,
I have read the manual until I am seething with irritation over the money spent and the fact that this is supposed to be a phone for persons hard of hearing
It's got everything we need to make it possible for a very old very deaf person to use the phone, including an extra handset that can be put wherever they usually sit
We might need to order a phone for a deaf person next time.
