Love this phone, especially the "call block" button, you know, for those people who continually ignore the "do not call list"!!!This phone has a clear sound and several different ring tones!!
The sound is better and the volume control is more flexible.
The ring tone has a nice sound and especially like the voice clarity.
The sound is terrible, to noisy and a ship plastic and not easy to use.
The sound is adjustable for my husband who is hard of hearing
The 250 capacity call blocking feature is excellent, and the button on the phone makes it easy.

On the Uniden, I would simply press the "Do Not Disturb" button on the base and all handsets and the base are immediately muted
:I've had one of the phones indicate that it wasn't connected but hitting the off button and hanging it up caused it to start working again
( I think there are on screen commands for the soft buttons but, like I mentioned, will have to use it more
Call Block is the best feature that I use on a regular basis to prevent unwanted callers.
For example, kept getting calls from a fake Apple Inc spam caller.
Although we've had good success with Panasonic corldless phones over the years, the caller ID feature died less than 3 months after purchasing this one.
Love the talking caller ID, and call block.
Now that I've used it for awhile, and learned how to set it up, I find this system to be very good, and works well blocking unwanted callers.
