It is a good product but doesn't pull in some of the stations I was used to.
The dials made it easy to use without all the distractive push buttons, plus it is a quality made good looking product with great sound in a small package
Panasonic at smart enough not to mess with a good product, unlike many manufacturers that believe a new model is more important than intrinsic quality.
I generally love Panasonic products, but when you can't even listen to headphones on this radio out of both earpieces, I cannot recommend.
I would highly recommend this product for a person that wants a good and simple to use portable unit.
works well, decent range, dial considerably easier to read than most.
I wanted something easy to use with clear numbers and manual dial
The size is right, Light weight, looks good, Good reception, easy to read dial and easy to fine tune
Although the dials are losing grip or something, I can set the channel, tie a rope on the handle with extension cord, and hoist it up to the rafter in the garage, although I don't recommend doing this in your garage.
No static as I move it from place to place as I've noticed with other portables
A fine portable radio receiver with good reception and sound quality
Good basic little radio when working outside, poor match between amp and speakers so sound quality is poor at higher volumes compared to other small radios.
Poor quality sound and much weaker reception than car radio.
I've looked for a radio for my kitchen with good sound quality
Ok for the price but sound quality was worse than average for cheap radios.
Lousy reception, poor speaker, on/off switch sounds like it has a short in it every time I turn it on or off.
This radio provides easy tuning & reasonable size but it does not have a very good sounding speaker, very shallow and harsh, and its ability to pull in a wide range of stations seems to be limited.
This radio has an excellent speaker that is clear sounding.
The speaker is so good that I dialed it down low to listen.
Tuning is simple, and it has good rich sound -- none of that cheap shrill pie plate speaker sound, and you can set this radio so it can be turned on and off with a timer
The speaker makes speaker noise and the tuning is loose
I like the radio with one reservation, the tuning is confusing.
My 85 year old father LOVES this radio, with the easy tuning, and good sound quality
works properly but fine tuning does not have a very good range..
It is a very basic (sometimes is a good thing), great big dial, easy to use, sounds great, looks great, works on batteries as well as the cord, red indicator light to indicate best tuning
Purchased it to listen to music in my kitchen, as well as for listening to the radio during power outages
It's a difficult area to get radio stations, but this radio got them all!
I'm in a marginal area but this receives fairly well.
I should probably give this five stars (okay, I will) because the stations I have a hard time getting are problematic in the car and other places in the house as well as on the kitchen counter
It might be the hilly area I live in, or some other interference as well

The antenna picks up weak stations pretty well and the volume is way louder than other radios
Easier to tune quickly and not have to learn digital presets or finnicky instructions; can be a bit harder to zero-in on the best station reception once you've found it.
A bit hard to find the station you want, but I'm happy with the purchase.
Can,t say enough love it.
Cons:A bit hard to find the exact radio station you want with the analog tuning bar vs a digital readout but for some folks that is a pro and not a con
