The tuning is decent; with a large enough tuning span that being exact is not substantially important.

This radio provides easy tuning & reasonable size but it does not have a very good sounding speaker, very shallow and harsh, and its ability to pull in a wide range of stations seems to be limited.

It is a very basic (sometimes is a good thing), great big dial, easy to use, sounds great, looks great, works on batteries as well as the cord, red indicator light to indicate best tuning

I believe all of the local radio stations are picked up by the radio but the tuning is a little difficult because the dial has limited list numbers on the dial.
