For the price these are ok, but the fit is a little odd
They are still as crisp as the day i bought them, fit under my bike helmet, comfortable to wear, built well, take up very little space, have stood up against being thrown around in purses and drawers.
I was looking for something that sounded good and had a more secure fit than earbuds for on-the-go listening
Very lightweight, very slim, great fit on your ear and stay snug (even when running/playing sports).
I often have to "weave" my ear between the earhook and the pad to get a good fit
They don't cancel noise as well as in the ear sets, but that's an acceptable tradeoff.

These are pretty comfortable, and they get much less tangled than regular earphones due to the adjustable plastic piece that cinches the two cords together

Formerly, I used in-the-ear earbuds, but I got an ear infection, my first since I was a kid, and I felt (sorry, no controlled study on this) that sticking those objects in my ears led to the trouble
If you are prone to ear infections-excess earwax.. my ENT advised me to only buy ear phones that are flat and rest against the ear opening because the ear buds that you stick in your ear only push wax and any dirt-debree into your ear and cause painful ear infections.

These Panasonic earphones finally broke when I stupidly ripped the wire and I immediately ordered another pair
These are replacing the same set I purchased many years ago (they finally broke - pulled a wire out when I fell asleep with them on)
But they broke down after about a year and a half of moderate use; the wire twisted off from one of the headphones, and shortly afterward the insulation on the wire leading to the second headphone snapped, leaving the wire itself exposed
I bought it to replace one I had for several years but the wires finally got frayed (my fault, dropped mp3 player too many times)
The price is a little bit higher, but these are exactly the same as my old earphones from WalMart, which finally broke (a wire must have frayed) after several years.
