If it looses signal, it will auto home to where it took off

Until that point, I had only been flying in open areas and staying under 40 ft off the ground, so signal strength and interference shouldn’t have been a problem

Says will go up to 1.24 miles and i cant get it more then 1/2 mile away before it loses signal i have tried open areas and gone to different locations

The Skycontroler 2 has a huge wifi antenna, I can fly with confidence a few hundred yards away while the P3S would give a "Weak Transmission Signal" warnings often

I flew it about 15 times, when it lost signal, it came back to "home".

It can be flown with just a smart phone but the controller communicates with the drone with a much stronger signal
