It will still work OK with many condenser mics, and of course all dynamic mics, but some condenser mics will not work with it.

While the unit is well made, it lacks a really good instruction manual.

To make it worse, the lady at Peavey that I was in contact with, made me take off the top panel, send her pictures of the fader that is built into the circuit board, and still could not tell me which fader is the replacement for mine

Highly Recommend if used for a internet radio broadcast
