I downloaded an app for an analog-style clock face called Brains, which was the best watchface I could locate (the choices are pathetically limited, and many are so odd that I can't believe anyone would ever choose them) and for some reason the hour, minute and second hands are all the same size, making a quick glance at the time impossible, because you have to wait for the second hand to move a few times before you can discern which one is the second hand and which one is the minute hand - aweful design
, it would be nice to have but so far the UX hasn't been hindered by the physical button only design.-Pebble vs. Android Wear, think carefully, do you want a watch or do you want a mini-assistant(Android Wear)?-Mic is only used for Voice replies to messages received.
With a 5-7 day battery life (significant longer than Apple or Android smart watches) and a durable, water resistant design, Pebble continued to defy the competition
The design of the watch is great, with long battery life, waterproof, and comfortable fit
pebble time is easy for apple user.low-priced though good design.
If you want a good smart watch at a great price, I suggest this one!!!!
I love this watch, perfect, and great quality product, great price too.
So, I saw the Pebble time at a cheap price on Amazon and gave it a shot.
but at a cheaper price point and offering functionality that doesn't require further use of your wireless contract, Pebble starts to make some sense
The Pebble watch is a great smartwatch, with quality materials, at a great price point that won't break your budget and is every bit a solid alternative to an Apple Watch
I love my pebble, just need a case to protect my device.
It works wonderful, feels wonderful and it an all around great device
If you know Pebble and understand what you're getting, this is a fantastic device
On the other hand, I would recommend the Pebble Time as a fallback device if you cannot afford the bigger name devices.
I love it,I dont need to have an extra phone in my hand, but a device that can let me know if there's an important call coming, or keep me informed about what people is sending me on my mobile (emails / sms)
Really disappointed as now there are mars on it that can't be removed.
This, I believe is the best Smartwatch out there for this application
Con: It is not touch screen, it does not display emoji's correctly (they look more ASCI, then the modern ones), replying to text messages does not always work and when it does Google seems to get confused as to what you said (this might be Google's fault
Really disappointed as now there are mars on it that can't be removed.
Best smartwatch on the market, better than Pebble Round even.
Sad they were bought out they really had a great product going.
Dead company, dead product, it wont be support, warranty or any future updates!----"Active Pebble watches will work normally for now
pebble is still a great product for what it is; comparing it to the apple watch is like comparing apples to grapes, you probably shouldn't compare them
I love this watch, perfect, and great quality product, great price too.
I don't ask for seconds when I get a defective product.
Last but not least, the PT has a comfortable rubber band with quick-change pins, enabling you to change bands as easily as you change watch faces.
Down one star for having a not so great band that it comes standard with, but it's easy enough to change out
Why we are rating this as three stars is because the band that is provided has caused a rash, blisters and looks like a burn
I LOVE the battery life (I'm getting just shy of 7 days as of this writing) and the water resistance (I can wear it in the shower). One thing I did not like: the band.
The wrist band of this watch isn't as comfortable as i would have liked, but you can always change the straps
Watch apps are always free, but beware that some require a paid companion app for your phone.
Although I have issues with the Misfit App not syncing properly sometimes, the Pebble watch definitely meets my basic needs.
This also means all apps and phone updates have to be redownloaded, which wastes my data if the app crashes when I don't have wifi.
the Misfit app must have caused some sort of conflict on my iPhone, because - until I deleted it - I had to reboot my watch and phone every time I tried to use it
The apps on it are useful and have perfectly fit what I needed in a smart watch
But it just doesn't work as well as I hoped, or indeed, as well as it did the first few weeks
Really disappointed as now there are mars on it that can't be removed.
Truly disappointed as I found that the other features on the watch look to be fantastic.
I'm told (after doing exhausted research online) that after Dec 2017 there will be no more updates for the watch (there will still be 3rd party apps like watchfaces), but what you have loaded on your phone by Dec 2017 will still work as long as you have the Apps already loaded on your phone

This is provided for by its non-LED, color e-ink display
My phone battery drains quicker when bluetooth is attached

aren't all working-Battery is just a little less than i expected, but still good, considering my heavy use.-Drains phone battery, and even more if you want wifi and location on for more features
The battery lasts for several days without needing a charge and most of the apps and notifications work as you would expect them too
Superior to Android wear and Apple watch in usability, battery life, water resistance, looks and weight

Every function in the description works as advertised, including the water resistance.

Bright always-on colour e-paper screen with pretty good resolution (much better than the original Kickstarter screens); no trouble to read in the brightest of light; no silly wrist-based (inaccurate) heart-rate monitor stuff; no GPS (who needs it - you have one in your phone); not too thick or too big (unlike most smartwatches out there); beautiful dull lustre to the metal surround; button interface works very well (and is, in my view, a better option than trying to do it all by touch on a such a small screen); notifications and interactions with an iPhone all work very well too; battery lasts for anywhere from 4 to 7 days depending on how much you do with it; silicon rubber wrist band is well made but can be swapped out for something else in due course if want something a bit more upmarket.
i dont think- its a piece of glass and metal on your wrist-- things like that
When trying to use the watch (as a watch,) I had to shake my wrist hard to get it to light up
but just mentioning)- Display is fairly dim indoors, but backlight works fine and you can shake your wrist to turn on light.- Buttons work fine for me, but I have smaller
No need to shake your wrist or tap the screen to display the time
The pebble time has a nice finish and I do like the screen
The only significant problem the Pebble Time has is that the bezel's finish gets scratched easily
any bump on a somewhat hard surface will scratch the matt finish on the watch-face.2
Good watch - appallingly awful finish - wears and scratches as soon as you wear itJust Google for "Pebble Time finish" and see how nearly 100% of users report the watch PVD coating scratching and wearing off within hours

I have worn it in the pool, and so far it has held up to its promise of being water resistant, however, if it is submerged for more than 2 minutes, it loses its Bluetooth
This is provided for by its non-LED, color e-ink display
no flukes, no unexpected Bluetooth disconnects from the phone.
This will, in all likelihood, fix all of the annoying and frustrating Bluetooth connectivity issues
I cannot attest to other smartwatches, but I can speak to the fact that I have found myself disabling Bluetooth for the day (thus incapacitating my Pebble) in order to ensure my phone doesn't die
Haptics are great and the connection with my phone is strong and reliable
It worked properly for maybe 2 weeks, but then it started constantly losing Bluetooth connection
Once in awhile it randomly loses Bluetooth connection with my phone, but I just open the Pebble app on my phone and it reconnects instantly
Stating annoyances, early on Bluetooth connectivity has been an issue with keeping a stable connection AND/OR trying to re-establish a Bluetooth connection after a disconnect or loosing the connection during a charging
Restart my iphone and the pebble numerous times because I kept losing the Bluetooth connection
Like I said before, so far so good!!UPDATE(s)- 5/17/2016 - I have figured out how to send texts from the watch and it does work with IOS!
Cons×Not as good looking as the Pebble Time Round and Pebble Time Steel×Smart straps still unavailable for the time being×Buttons aren't as tactile as the Pebble Time Round×No built in
