Penpower WorldCardColor Color Business Card Scanner (Windows)

    • I have used this scanner to scan photos as well as business cards and it works well
    • I understood that the scanner will not recognize any fancy fonts, thick cards, or unusual card designs but no one mentioned the fact that this scanner freezes after 3-4 cards.
    • It has trouble with very dark colored business cards, and sometimes misspells words if the font is little and close together.
    • The device scan many cards well, lighter shades on many cards cause bad or missing info, scan engine could be a bit better.
    • This machine is a life saver - it will scan the card in very quickly and displays the scanned image right away.
    • If you are a serious networker, use a contact manager and don't have a card scanner you're either losing potentially valuable contacts or don't collect business cards.
    • I still can believe how "smart" this thing is and how well it reads the cards
    • Scans business cards generally well
    • With the easy and simple cards, this baby has no problem, but on the more complex ones with graphics, it poops a brick and you have to edit it
    • When looking for a card scanner that would work with my Macintosh computer, the ad for this scanner state that it would work with both PC and MAC computers, which caused me to purchase this item
    • Nifty little card reader for the price and a snap to set up.
    • Scanned 150 cards > saved as csv and cleaned up a little then imported into ACT.
    • I understood that the scanner will not recognize any fancy fonts, thick cards, or unusual card designs but no one mentioned the fact that this scanner freezes after 3-4 cards.
    • It does have some trouble with unusual fonts, and or background images that make the text on the card hard to read.
    • Scans and helps organize all of those loose business cards
    • Only has problems with fancy fonts or cards that are hard to read in the first place
    • Within 2 hours, I installed, scanned and corrected 150 cards
