It does a pretty good job of scanning cards - the software that comes with the scanner is dedicated to business card scanning and keeps an image of the business card as well as doing OCR and assigning the recognized text to various fields (name, position, address, etc.).

The software does a decent job considering the variations it has to work with, but like I said, there will need to be some editing for most cards.

A nice feature is that it can scan in various languages - if the right language is selected it does a better job of getting the field identification right (because addresses are formatted differently in differnt countires).

Overall, this scanner is easy to use and does a great job.

I does not work on cards that have a dark background, but it did a great job on 90-95% of the cards I get in normal business operations.
