In the years I’ve been using these pens, the ink ALWAYS delivers a constant, smooth flow of ink that never skips or leaves clots … reliable ink delivery will make or break any pen, in my opinion

I would have preferred if there was a more pronounced lip immediately above where the plastic grip stops and he metal below it begins, to keep your fingers in their proper position for secure writing

With its cap on, this slender, elegant roller ball pen, the Libretto, from Pentel measures 5 ¼ “ from top to bottom.
The Alloy model offers a more natural gripping surface for my fingers and the LIBRETTO forces me to pinch the pen grip more.
While I personally prefer the medium lines created by a 0.7mm tip and will buy 0.7mm ink refills, the LIBRETTO is supposed to handle any size/color EnerGel refill ink
I've tried the other Pentel premium roller gel pen offerings and the Libretto is my favorite
The Libretto by Pentel feels solid in your hands, writes smoothly, and the refills are easy to find while being reasonably priced

So yeah, based solely on how they write, I much prefer the Energel over the Jetstream
If you prefer retractactable pens, Pentel also has Energel Style and the less expensive Energel Alloy.
