  • Bad graphics, good gameplay.
  • Very cool weapons and awesome gameplay for multi-player.
  • i don't think i can think of any other one's as good as it make sure u have the expansion pak to get the most out of the game otherwise u can only play the multi-player
  • Fourth, the multiplayer is every bit as good as and better than Goldeneye, which many consider to be the best multiplayer ever.

Reviews around eye (4.42 of 5)

  • This game absolutely blows Golden Eye 007 out of the water and this is coming from a long time Golden Eye fan
  • Perfect dark toatly whoops golden eyes
  • Almost everyone with a Nintendo 64 has played Golden Eye at some point
  • Golden eye and this game is almost the same because you get to use gun's so on
  • Besides its cousin Golden Eye, it is the best game for Nintendo 64.

Reviews around graphic (4.29 of 5)

  • Decent game, horribly-old graphics, but very classic for the N64
  • The graphics were top of the line when this game was released.
  • After Conker's Bad Fur Day, this game most likely has the best N64 graphics
  • Awesome game from Rare in its heyday, great graphics (for N64) and great gunplay.
  • Ilove the bloody graphics the bad lanuage and the killing

Reviews around person (4.26 of 5)

  • 10/10 Solo missions asside, Perfect Dark is arguably the best first person shooter ever made
  • Overall, this is the best First Person Shooter that I've ever played (
  • RARE were the best First Person Shooter developers,UbiSoft being second
  • This is stil the best first person shooter even now that they came up with x box, Gamecube, and Playstation
  • The sniper in PD hits like a wet noodle, often taking even 2-3 head shots to kill a person, which is extremely unrealistic, but on the otherhand, PD and Rare did a great job averaging the damage out of the different amounts of weapons

Reviews around player (4.21 of 5)

  • Intense single-player adventure, gripping storyline, and so many objectives
  • One of the two HUMANS is the good guy (I mean girl), and the other is one of the soldiers in the stage, the soldiers can even take suicide pills!PD is also a great 1 player game, with i7 missions to play on Agent, Special Agent, Perfect Angent, and another to unlock if you're good enough
  • Maybe at least thirty maps(if you spend a good long time on it, as you should), so many simulants to choose from incase you don't have a friend over to school at this game and a picture perfect single-player.
  • Having 4 player death match would have been bada*s.
  • Fourth, the multiplayer is every bit as good as and better than Goldeneye, which many consider to be the best multiplayer ever.

  • Single player has cooperative, counterpoperative modes.
  • No problem, play some co-operative mode and work together to complete those solo-missions.
  • No problem, play some co-operative mode and work together to complete those solo-missions.
  • This game has an awesome multi player mode, plenty of unlockable cheats
  • The 2 player cooperative mode has you taking on the enemies with a friend and with the split screen you can take out objectives together or opt to pick out which objectives you and your friend to do and meet with them somewhere else in the stage

Reviews around story (3.80 of 5)

  • The gameplay is similar to that of its predecessor Goldeneye, but the story is more complex, involving a conspiracy with the mysterious DataDyne Corporation, the US Government, and a group of strange alien creatures
  • The single player mode has a great story and keeps you motivated while playing through it
  • Combines the best elements of Multiplayer PC Shooters and a great story and single player game.
  • Perfect Dark WAS the better game-in reality, but in poularity GE!,MOH was just a clone!I don`t give a damn about HALO,that is a good game but nothing to dance aroud and Praise-if RARE made it,it may have but Bungie and MicroSoft made it
  • with the exception of the man dan carrington the characters are wooden and the story is very poor, you never feel into the game's story at all

Reviews around n64 (3.75 of 5)

  • This game is the reason why you bought an N64, 4 controllers and bothered with investing in the Expansion Pack to unlock the entire game itself
  • Perect dark is the best N64 killing game ever made the graphics kick ass golden eye was a DRAG!!
  • That says a lot, because GoldenEye is one of the greatest N64 games ever.
  • I bought this game having played 007 quite a bit, which was made by the same people and is one of the greatest N64 games ever made.

Reviews around goldeneye (3.70 of 5)

  • The N64 became a bit of a party machine around the house here with the Mario Party games, the WWF/WCW wrestling games, racers and of course, Goldeneye
  • I prefer Goldeneye because of its Golden Gun mode, but Perfect Dark is right up there for those who lack that preference
  • When I first got Perfect Dark, I was afraid that like most videogame sequels it wouldn't surprass its revolutionary predeccesor, Goldeneye.
  • The funny thing is is that this game wasn't nearly as hyped up as Goldeneye and infact, this beats Goldeneye.
  • The wide range of weapons is one of the major improvements over its predecessor, GoldenEye, as well as the unique plot (after all, this one isn't based on a movie).

Reviews around weapon (3.61 of 5)

  • In multiplayer, you can carry as many guns as possible, including other weapons such as knives, combat boosts(a drug to slow down time, aka bullet time),tranquilizers, a few different types of grenades, automated turrets, x-ray scanners(see through walls),3 different types of mines, and more
  • I can`t get enough of this game love the different weapons and areas plus I can choose my own weapons ,how many targets I want to play against and area
  • Is that right?I don't know the story, but I was impressed with the innovative graphics, gory violence and tight futuristic weapons this game has
  • It has awesome weapons, a creative variety of characters, an interesting story and many levels to complete.
  • You can customize just about anything: the music, the number of players, the time limit, the kill limit, weapons you can use, the character you use (as well as the name and attributes), handicap settings and the number of simulants (the bot controlled characters) as well as the difficulty level and role of the simulants itself

Reviews around joanna (2.33 of 5)

  • Fourth, the multiplayer is every bit as good as and better than Goldeneye, which many consider to be the best multiplayer ever.
  • However with the pak, you can go through the place where Joanna Dark works!
  • In the next Bond movie, perhaps they could set up some sort of movie where Bond, James Bond, meets Joanna Dark.
  • Mission objectives increase as the difficulty level increases, and real stealth is required to make it through alive; in short, the only way to win is to completely immerse yourself in Joanna Dark's world, and pretend everyone is flesh-and-blood real
  • Having said that, in this game, you control Joanna Dark, a secret agent who has been sent to infiltrate DataDyne Corporation, because they have been suspected of conspiracy.

Reviews around framerate (2.25 of 5)

  • Fourth, the multiplayer is every bit as good as and better than Goldeneye, which many consider to be the best multiplayer ever.
  • The framerate did take a hit occasionally but not enough to make you curse that its so jittery
  • i don't think i can think of any other one's as good as it make sure u have the expansion pak to get the most out of the game otherwise u can only play the multi-player
  • Perfect Dark WAS the better game-in reality, but in poularity GE!,MOH was just a clone!I don`t give a damn about HALO,that is a good game but nothing to dance aroud and Praise-if RARE made it,it may have but Bungie and MicroSoft made it

Reviews around alien (1.95 of 5)

  • The gameplay is similar to that of its predecessor Goldeneye, but the story is more complex, involving a conspiracy with the mysterious DataDyne Corporation, the US Government, and a group of strange alien creatures
  • You run into the autopsy room, take the floating cart the unconsious if not dead alien is on, and push it out of the room with one hand while carefully holding your trusty pistol in the other
  • i don't think i can think of any other one's as good as it make sure u have the expansion pak to get the most out of the game otherwise u can only play the multi-player
  • You'll feel bad when Cassandra De Vries gets her comeuppance, when you fail a mission resulting in Elvis's (the alien of course)or Daniel Carrington's death, and you'll shed a few tears when Dr. Carrol make his incredibly noble decision late in the game
  • They have found that the Datadyne Corporation are in league with the hostile alien Skedar race

Reviews around mind (1.95 of 5)

  • The amazing detail and creativity of the guns in this game also blows my mind with the wide variety and selection of arms
  • The solo missions boggle the mind with their complexity and size.
  • And this was the first 3-D futuristic game to be done right in my opinion.

Reviews around guy (1.69 of 5)

  • , it looks like you are really killing real people-blood animations are excellent, 'cause blood splatters all over the walls, floors, and ceilings!!!-The sound sounds like you are firing real weapons, and the guys scream in pain and agony when they die-Lots of levels, and then four secret levels-Levels are large, and give you room to exploreHere is a list of weapons:-Falcon 2-Falcon 2 Scope(Sniper pistol)-Falcon 2 Silencer-
  • Where your teammate is a bad guy and tries's to stop you which is also an amazing feature
  • Other modes of play include a two-player missions mode and a counter-op mode where one player jumps between bad guys to stop the other player, ala matrix
  • and i still love it! and check with ur parents if its ok to get it if ur under ages 17 here are just a few reasons why i still love it the graphics control sound are all great and belive me u won't get bored of this anytime soon (unless u get Perfect Dark 2 that they say is gonna come out for the gamecube

Reviews around bite (1.69 of 5)

  • Perfect Dark WAS the better game-in reality, but in poularity GE!,MOH was just a clone!I don`t give a damn about HALO,that is a good game but nothing to dance aroud and Praise-if RARE made it,it may have but Bungie and MicroSoft made it
  • The multiplayer does suffer a bit in terms of graphics, but the fact that you have so many options, from adding simulants, to changing the format of the game (team mode, death match, capture the flag, etc.), to customizing your level weapons, makes up for this
  • The soundtrack to Perfect Dark largely consists of a more futuristic Bond-style music where it's a bit more ambient and mysterious with moments where it gets really exciting and cinematic
  • Great missions, multiplayer formats, weapons, secondary weapon modes, and the game does not deserve an M-rating (a bit of swearing [h-ord-]and animated violence along with a tiny bit of blood when you kill someone]).Highly Recommended
  • Maybe a bit slow, but decent nonetheless.*Up to 4 players, which is pure pandemonium!*Different personalities for bots keep the gameplay interesting

More about Perfect Dark

  • Product Description This is the game Nintendo 64 fans have waited for
  • Nearly three years after the uncloaking of super spy action-adventure GoldenEye 007, developer extraordinaire Rare introduces futuristic special operative Joanna Dark, a.k.a
  • Perfect
  • In Perfect Dark, players are sent on a fast-paced adventure from downtown Chicago skyscrapers to underground labs to undersea wrecks of otherworldly origins
  • Naturally, the storyline weaves a complex web of conspiracy, hidden agendas, and megalomaniac corporate leaders with deep underground (and off-world) ties
  • As spy-game fans expect, unraveling the plot and disposing of the baddies require a grab bag of hi-tech gadgets and special weapons--especially given the game's tougher and smarter enemies
  • Perfect Dark features Dolby surround sound, widescreen compatibility, and--as expected--stunning special effects, including dynamic lighting, chest-thumping explosions and realistic smoke, dust and steam clouds
  • Characters are lifelike thanks to motion-captured animations and beautifully rendered 3-D models
  • Perfect Dark's multiplayer features are impressive
  • As in GoldenEye 007, up to four players can deathmatch in up to 20 different arenas
  • But that's just the start of the fun
  • The inclusion of up to eight computer-controlled opponents ("bots") adds an original component to the frag-fest
  • Humans can team with or against bots and even command a bot teammate to target specific opponents
  • Numerous original games, such as King of the Hill, offer so many variations that you just might forget that an engrossing single-player experience lies at the heart of the game
  • Special note: The gameplay and graphics are greatly enhanced with the extra memory boost provided by the N64 Expansion Pak
  • The main single- player missions and multiplayer enhancements (three- or four-player games, as opposed to two-player games without the Pak, and other options) are only available with the N64 Expansion Pak (not included)
  • If you own Donkey Kong 64, you received a Pak bundled in with the game
  • Others must purchase an expansion RAM Pak separately, a highly recommended option
  • --Eric Twelker Amazon.com A first-person shooter that mixes spy and sci-fi, Perfect Dark is both a thoroughly engrossing one-player experience and a riotously fun multiplayer romp
  • Easily one of the best games of its genre on any video game console, this long-awaited follow-up to GoldenEye 007 is a must-have for Nintendo 64 owners--and a damn good reason to be one if you're not
  • The futuristic Perfect Dark casts players as Joanna Dark, a secret agent who becomes embroiled in a sinister conspiracy involving aliens and an evil corporation
  • Gameplay is broken down into missions, each with objectives that must be unerringly completed before progressing to the next mission
  • This is not your typical kill-anything-that-moves game: putting a bullet in the wrong person, not keeping the right one alive, or perforating a seemingly unimportant inanimate object can often result in mission failure
  • While Perfect Dark's solo missions play out much like those in GoldenEye 007, the game's fantastic multiplayer options are another matter entirely
  • Cooperative and counteroperative simultaneous-play modes allow for another player to join in on a mission as, respectively, a teammate or the enemy
  • However, the real fun here is in the highly customizable Combat Simulator, a one-to-four-player simultaneous-play mode that features both free-for-alls and team-based challenges and can include up to eight Simulants, computer-controlled combatants of varying behavior
  • Although Simulants make for decent adversaries or teammates, you'll want to grab a friend--and an Expansion Pak, as only 35 percent of the game is available without one--to fully enjoy Perfect Dark
  • --Joe Hon Pros: One of the best first-person shooters on any video game console Outstanding multiplayer game with huge replay value Bevy of game options, cheats, and secret features Excellent training mode with challenges all of its own Cons: Graphics get ugly when playing with more than two players See all Product description
