We see a return of the great gameplay of Persona 3 and 4 with a smooth and streamlined execution that really makes battles and Palace exploration/sleuthing a treat
Pros: -Persona 5 has easily the best gameplay the series has ever seen
The storyline is amazing, the characters are fantastic, and the gameplay is great
Would recommend this game to anyone who wants a great story and gameplay.
The gameplay is a improvement over persona 4 and the story so far is very good
One great thing about it is that the dungeons ("palaces" in P5) feature actual level design variation, instead of floor after floor of a single tileset
I looked up ONE thing about the game while I was playing and it led to a huge spoiler that I wish I could have experienced blind.
One of my favorite things about Persona 5 is that some games promise longer hours of gameplay by creating irritating difficulty spikes as the story progresses to make the game longer, and yes Persona 5 does have one difficulty spike around the third dungeon, however it's easy to get over with a bit of grinding, and the gameplay is enjoyable enough to not mind much

A lot of the game is good, but the weak story and horrible pacing left me bored once the initial part of the game was over.
Fantastic characters, a good story, wonderful music, and fun combat all come together to make an incredible game.
Overall Persona 5 has been crafted to fulfill the needs of many types of gamers, and I, as a casual gamer who usually plays games for likable characters and great stories, am very pleased and invested with this game, and I am excited to fully complete the game and unravel more of the story
If you want a really cool take on the "rebellious teen-agers" story, look at this game
Would recommend this game to anyone who wants a great story and gameplay.
All in all this games story unfolds in a really awesome way and the pacing is excellent
It's like everybody in this game has one inflexible way of saying something, which definitely feels like a translation from Japanese that wanted to be "accurate" without taking the liberties that a good translation actually MUST take in order to translate the spirit - not just the words - of the original
and it's not something you hear very often when playing a video game, it makes just wandering around town or exploring a palace come alive in a really fun way and memorable way
Persona 5's whodunit is barely even a "mystery" in how simple it is, and when the lid is blown, for a minute the game actually seems to be making fun of poorly-executed mysteries, which is funny in a twisted way, but it doesn't change the fact that the game pretends it's a real mystery for a very long time
Although the hiding actions and movements are flashy and very cool, it's a bit stressful and difficult to position your character in the right way to be able to ambush enemies

Edition:Standard
Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students - the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game's story - who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves
They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler - attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs
But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people
Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self”
The game's heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective masks and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need
Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.
