    • and I did notice that the release a lot of carbon dust into the water
    • Rinse thoroughly before installing to get the carbon dust out.
    • Make sure you rinse them as instructed, or the carbon dust will be in your fountain
    • lately the filters seem to be leaving alot of carbon dust in the water ,even after rinsing them extremely well before using them.
    • I rinsed the filter thoroughly before using it like always, and it wasn't the carbon dust that sometimes comes out of these
    • The PetSafe Drinkwell filters are well-made, drop right into the fountain, last pretty long (longer than it says on the package, if you routinely clean them), and they don't put carbon dust in kitty's water.
