PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Dog and Cat Feeder, Smartphone, 24-Cups, Wi-Fi Enabled App for iPhone and Android, Award Winning Pet Feeder

    • If my one cat wasn't such a pig and determined to not be on a diet, I'd be even more happy
    • They are close, so the cats must be good with that
    • This led to quite a few puke stains on return as my cats seemed to gorge themselves.
    • She was meowing like a crazy cat at 8am and that’s when we figured it out by looking at history in the app
    • Cat was scared of noise of food dropping into metal
    • I came home and my cat was happy and fed
    • This cause my cat making noises when eating and make the bowl to move around
    • The app for my iPhone is very easy to use and I trust that this feeder won't fail my cat
    • Like clockwork my cat would meow obnoxiously if you
    • As others noted, the sound of the food falling into the bowl is a bit noisy and it scared my skittish cat for the first day or so, now she runs to it as soon as she hears the mechanism turn on
    • My cat was scared of it at first, but she quickly warmed up to it
    • It was difficult to decide to spend this much on a feeder, but my cat and I are so happy with it!*******************************************************I decided to purchase this after I had repeated issues with the QPets 6-feed machine
    • and it’s made feeding our cat so much easier.
    • A little worried as my cat is food motivated and it feels like it could tip over
    • Works great, this keeps my cat from throwing up
    • My cats figured out how to break into it in about an hour by knocking it onto its side to expose all the food
    • My cat was scared of it at first, but she quickly warmed up to it
    • Kept my cats happy and alive during my 5 day trip, the app was nice and reassuringly let you know that your pet was fed
    • I do wish that I could dispense less cat food than 1/8th of a cup because my cat is getting fatter as we speak.
    • My cats loved it but they chewed the adapter wires in half.
    • One cat was scared of it at
    • Of course it helps to have very intelligent cats who get along most of the time.
    • the kibble makes as it hits the bowl can be heard by the cat through numerous walls and floors (and if you've thought your cat was deaf due to her practice of ignoring you unless she wants food, this will teach you otherwise
    • The cats were a little timid about it at first because it's new and it makes noise, but they got used to it
    • Amazing - my cats aren’t waking us up at all hours to feed them
    • Now my fat cat is putting her paw in the tunnel where the food comes from and all that is stopping the food from coming down is a rubber stopper.
    • My cat was smart enough to learn the button on top dispenses food
    • Going to have to let them free feed, which means probably a couple piles of cat puke and some fatter cats when I return
    • At first the cats were a little wary but quickly adjusted
    • The last problem I find is although the feeder is big, if my cats play around and bump into it, it would move, the machine would dispense some food on it own
    • I push that one before I head up to bed, so the cats don't follow and bug me
    • My second is that, while overall the feeder is very sturdy, the lid over the food hopper is extremely flimsy- and the latch that holds it closed could easily be broken by a feisty cat or dog
    • Dogs are not as gentle eater as cats
    • And I appreciate that it’s sized for dogs as well as cats
    • If you watch the video I included, my cats were slightly apprehensive about it at first because of the motor/bowl noise
    • Unfortunately my cat is smarter than most people I know and has found a way to paw underneath the lip where food drops.
    • So, to wrap this up, I'll state my official opinion: this feeder is amazing for one cat, but might not work for two or more, especially if you have larger, more aggressive cats who can be pretty greedy when it comes food.
    • Not only did my cat figure out how to break into it, but it would only feed my cat for 2.5 days
    • My cats were afraid of food hitting the included stainless steel bowls, so I removed the bowls and bowl holders and replaced those with large ceramic cat food bowls
    • My cat has broken 4 automatic feeders and this is the only one he can't break in to
    • Cons:- Noise of the kibble dropping into the stainless steel bowl scares my cat
    • You can set it to feed the cat automatically at the same time every morning, or you can grab your phone and hit the button that says 'Feed this damn cat'.
    • I have a cat with a health condition and I work nights and
    • You'd have to constantly keep an eye on both while away on vacation, etc.*My cat has learned if he just nudges it, it will knock food loose from the conveyor
    • My cats were smart enough to figure out that they could sit on the top of the dispenser and push the white button and dispense a portion
    • But I still wanted it to work as I can't always rely on my daughters to feed the dogs at the right time
    • Portions are spot on and it works as it says it does
    • , I’m satisfied with it, but not EXTREMELY satisfied as I feel like I should be getting more for the amount I paid
    • n’t knock it over.
