Love this thing

The food driven kitty quickly got over it, took a couple of days for my female cat to learn it was a good thing

I loved this thing for the past 6 months

Cat food fell down inside the feeder, jammed up the gears, and eventually the regulator that governs how long to run the belt broke, this thing is now a $200 door stop (and it's terrible at that because it's so light, once you shake the catfood out of the gear works)

Speaking of the hopper getting empty: One of the most important things to remember with either of these feeders is to PRIME THE CONVEYOR, not only the first time you set this

Actually, the only thing that would make it better would be for the manufacturer to add an electronic tone to signal her when the meal is finished.

I have never had an automatic feeder before, but this is the best thing since sliced bread.

One more thing I like the idea of adjusting the amount you feed the cat or slow feed option.
