Work perfect only down is the price so expensive I would want to do the whole house with these
The bridge has been trouble free and the Hue app works fine,
a $ smart plus works better to turn the lights of and on, its a mess.
Colors are nice, Hue Bridge works well, integration with HomeKit is great to have Siri change lighting colors and scenes for you.
Anyone who's messed with older home automation tech (like X10) will appreciate that this works way more simply and easily than any of those gadgets ever did, and all from your smartphone or tablet!

So I would definitely recommend this device as an easy way to make your lighting smart.
You control everything through an app or smart device (like google home/amazon echo)
The software is a pain in the butt, and you have to be sort of smart to work with this smart device
So if you want other smart home devices like smart in-wall switches (to control your conventional lights), sensors, alarms, or plugs or whatever you are gonna have look for another hub to mainline your network.
But I would tell Siri to turn off some lights and it would claim the device was unavailable

I just love the ability to dim the lights, and to change them to different colors or "scenes" -- even using just my voice, thanks to the Google Home
I love having the ability to set different zones and rooms and the compatibility with Alexa is really awesome
and they said that in the current 2nd Generation Bridge - the memory of that device is what is limiting its ability to control more than 50-ish devices.

an aside, there are some cool features out of the box, but new users may be annoyed by the reality that switching the bulbs off and back on resets them to their factory state
The bulbs are a little expensive but the features are really nice
and they have some very useful features like turning your bulbs on when you arrive home from work, either by timer or proximity (of your phone) to home.
I like the wake up feature where light turns on slowly from dim to bright

These are very expensive bulbs to replace; why should the burden be on the customer who paid a substantial amount for them to have to jump through hoops to receive a replacement for a defective product as determined by the manufacturer?
Great product, I love to play with the colors and combinations of colors together, super easy to set up also
This is the worst product I have ever purchased in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Otherwise, absolutely love this product and will be buying more.
I actually purchased these specifically because I figured investing in a more expensive product from a big brand like Phillips would be less hassle

The bulbs are brighter than I expected, but they could still be brighter

First Philips Hue light bulbs or any smart bulbs of any kind
The bulbs work most of the time, but the Philips Hue app is not consistent.
The light bulbs are very expensive and if you need to use the warranty Philips Hue makes it almost impossible to do so
