Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock with Sunrise Simulation and Radio, White (HF3505)

    • I love this clock
    • This is not a "cheap" alarm clock...it should either have a built-in battery backup, or at the very least a spot to put a pair of AAA batteries (or even a couple watch batteries!)
    • This is a very cool clock and I loved the look of it on my nightstand
    • Battery backups are pretty standard even in cheaper alarm clocks, and have been for at least 15-20 years
    • Between the obnoxiously bright clock numbers (I unplugged the whole thing and stuck it in the back of the closet by Day 4), the lack of a battery backup, etc, I don't tink you should waste your money here.
    • I like the clock overall, but for the price I was a little disappointed
    • great alarm clock but lacks battery power... who ever heard of an alarm clock that can't use batteries?
    • Enjoy using this clock!
    • It definitely helps me wake up better than a normal loud and annoying alarm clock
    • It would have probably cost Phillips an extra $.50 per model, and I'd personally be willing to eat that for a much more effective alarm clock
    • I love this clock
    • I wish there were more options for such an expensive alarm clock.
    • 3 stars because I'm planning to keep the clock as it makes waking up more pleasant, but it's lacking a feature so basic to its function that I'm still using my phone as an alarm.
    • It feels very lightweight, but otherwise the clock feels sleek and futuristic, not cheap
    • Most expensive and short lived clock ever.
    • * Orange LED clock is pleasant and has an adjustable brightness (something a lot of reviewers missed - the clock brightness *is* adjustable
    • store.-My particular clock that I ended up with has serious speaker quality issues
    • My issue was the clock kept losing time
    • If you're already getting 8 hours of sleep but still have trouble waking up without sunlight, I highly recommend this alarm clock
    • so you knock the clock over often when trying to turn it off because the clock is so light
    • If the whole point to the clock is that you are light-sensitive, they should have the option for the clock to go dark at night
    • As someone who has about 12 LEDs in her room at night, I don't need another bright clock staring at me as I sleep
    • This is a pretty good alarm clock and definitely a gentle way to wake up
    • Every time, I have to reset this stupid clock
    • This is a wonderful alarm clock
    • My coworker recommended a similar sunrise clock from another brand that was even more overpriced than this one
    • It seems everyone's negative comments have been noticed and used to create this amazing clock
    • Between the obnoxiously bright clock numbers (I unplugged the whole thing and stuck it in the back of the closet by Day 4), the lack of a battery backup, etc, I don't tink you should waste your money here.
    • I love this alarm clock
    • I cannot use this clock anymore after my electricity went out and messed up the clock somehow.
    • I've recommended this alarm clock at least 30 times to other co-workers.
    • This clock is awesome
    • As someone who is just a few chloroplasts short of photosynthesizing, this light up clock is very helpful during the winter/ on overcast days when the sun is not around
    • The clock is indeed far too bright even at lowest setting and impossible to resolve due to the design.
    • I bought this clock because I was assigned a 4am-1pm work
    • The clock slowly and gently brightens as it approaches your wakeup time
    • Great clock, bright, easy to use and light weight.
    • The clock being unsteady: it's really not
    • We'd come home and the clock would be blinking 12:00 like an old-time VCR.
    • This clock has made that easier; I am much more alert waking up to this alarm than any others
    • This is the perfect light alarm clock
    • Love this alarm clock
