The only aspects that could use improvement are that: I have keep my phone alarm on still because this one does not have a battery backup in case the electricity flickers off during the night

disappointed ...does not help me and radio has lousy tone

You can't really see it when the bedroom light is on, but at night it does get a little brighter than it seems

This lacks the two basic requirements for being a useful alarm:it does not have a battery backup and it cannot be programmed for only certain days of the week

So this works well for me as a closk but does not work for me as an alarm.
