Only been a few weeks running but has great battery life and easy to use software.
This XM radio/mp3 player is full of great features and capabilities - sound was good, size made it very portsble, good battery life
It is very small and light, acquires an excellent signal, has reasonable battery life (I have been getting the advertised 4-5 hours per charge), and many interesting features (which I haven't fully exploited as yet).
Personally, I would just like a standard portable XM radio with good battery life.
As my other portable devices have become more reliable and with a longer usable life, satellite radio continues to go the other direction

, I will always have at least one subscription as when traveling nothing can compare to the coast to coast coverage of satellite radio!!I'd still highly recommend the XMP3 if you're looking for an overall good experience with satellite radio
Still love the XMP3 - just as long as this new one behaves OK - which it seemed to out of the box, but time will tell
The XMp3 is very user friendly and build quality is top notch
Now everytime you plug in your device, it will download any new songs in your playlist to your device, and update the playlist itself on your XMP3 (works great)I think I might actually prefer just dealing with one program (Media Player).
But the best way to do this is by organizing what you want to upload to the device into a single folder before you upload it
I didn't like the hang-off from the A/C duct at all since I live in the South and need the air flow on hot days; the way the hanger is set up the unit blocks the vent you use to hang it.
Everything works as it should and no change with the features or operation of the basic radio over the last hundreds (thousands?) of hours it has been on
if you have an inno, i highly reccomend trying to get one for your radio.overall i am pleased with the pioneer xmp3, but a better way for pioneer to have gone with it would have been to simply keep the original INNO design, and revamp it so that it incorporated the external memory slot and the extra built in storage time.
Portability is great, reception in a variety of situations is good.
If your reception becomes sporadic for some reason, when it returns in full force, the unit usually resets itself to Channel 1 (which is kind of like an audio 'TV Guide' for the radio) instead of the channel you were listening to before the reception went bad
The reception is not bad without an external antenna but with the home kit there is no problem.
This product needs much improvement on the poor reception.
Outside reception is good only if the device is pointing south towards the satellite
Their returns process is convoluted and inconvenient; they clearly do not want customers to hold them accountable for defective products, nor do they want to replace said defective products.
Don't spend your hard-earned money on a defective product made by a company who clearly does not care about its customers.
Overall good product, its what pioneer has always stood for quality at a good price
This is a completely worthless product and I will be returning it promptly
Fo 10 months this product was fine and then it froze up and will not work.
You can add favorite channels, but accessing them is not nearly as easy as with the Inno
A few gripes about this unit as some others have mentioned is that although it allows you to record individual songs or programs, it has an annoying fade in/out 'feature' that you can't turn off.

First of all, in one of the negative reviews the reviewer said they hated the fade-in and -out between songs in the recorded XM.
In the end I took a leap of faith and bought one despite identifying with some poor reviewers
This rotten reviewer could have spent a few seconds with the device without even reading the manual and found the settings
