I've read from other reviewers that the O-Port helps to suppress feedback, which would be a point in its favour
I wanted to try this in my natural Martin with dual P/U, but the electronics extended all the way to the rim, which made putting in the O-port impossible without cutting it.
I also found that there seemed to be less vibration where the back of the guitar would make contact with me (though that seems to be changing the more I play the guitar after installing the port). Is the O-Port worth buying
I inserted the O-Port into the sound hole of my acoustic bass, and while the volume hasn't increased noticeably, I've eliminated all feedback when using an amp and the tone is a whole lot richer.
I suspect that this product would be even more effective on less expensive guitars

I typically don't leave reviews, but this is a great product
So nice when a product meets and even exceeds expectations
If product wasn't damaged at the time of arrival I would've tried to get this in but didn't want to damage my guitar or handle a damaged product.
There are those who have reviewed this item and said that the sound is "amazing" I'm happy for them, but can't say the same, or that the difference was that incredible
Since getting mine, the difference in the tone of my guitar is hard to believe.
Amazingly, there was a nice clean difference as the O-Port clarified the sound.
However, there is a clear positive difference when I use it in my Maton EBG-808 Acoustic Guitar especially in the bass strings
I tried this and there is a clear positive difference in my classical guitar bass
The O-Port enhanced fingerstyle play, but it also added clarity to gently-rolled chords

The O Port cracked and broke with my first attempt at installation.
I got it in just fine, but then had to use a thin tool (smooth end of nail clipper lever) to coax the part of the o-port that lacks a rim out of the guitar to fit along the inner edge of the top of the sound hole.
The o-port doesn't enhance volume much and I prefer a quieter guitar for singing unplugged.
The O-port does enhance resonance, volume and slightly greater projection

Excellent for a fingerpicker and classical guitarist (like me) wishing for a natural acoustic loud volume to the likes of a Marshall stack at 11 without plugging in.
As far as volume, it's hard to detect much of an improvement

If you have a guitar with electronics inside or a cut-away style body, be forewarned that the O-Port may or may not work for you.

In fact, it did nothing but waste my time, scratch one of the spruce braces, and waste $20.
You are going to have a hard time trying to fit it even if it is 1/16" smaller than the specifications
BUT... It kills the overall blend, which is cool if you are a finger picker, playing a lead, or strumming lightly, but sucks big time when you are strumming.
I was blown away the first time my friend played his guitar

It did stop feedback issues and sounded somewhat better overall
So now I can play through multiple guitar effects pedals at the same time with no feedback issues

Not sure it really helped because multiple strings broke as I tried to re tightened them.
