Since the wifi at work is unreliable, I bought this connector to connect my laptop to the ethernet cable.

Windows 10 laptop, with marginal WiFi coverage, but a nice gigabit hard wire jack next to it

Plug and play for a Acer C720... great for use at a hotel with poor wifi but wired ethernet.

Wifi is too unreliable to be the only form of access to the net, and this little device solves that problem nicely.
