More importantly, it does so at a much better price point.
Overall, if you’re not a major athlete training for anything and just an average person that likes to work out and want a decent fitness watch at a modest price point, this is the one for you!
very well priced for a watch that tracks heart rate without an external band
I highly recommend this product for its built in GPS and HR features and its affordable price makes it a great bargain
But it doesn’t have a feature when work out begins or ends!
I also wasn't aware of the vibration feedback, it is a nice feature
I may switch back to the M400, even though not having to strap on the chest sensor is a nice feature
And sometimes...in fact a lot of times I end up just running without GPS...which kind of stinks because for someone who likes the data...it kind of feels like the run "didn't count"...as odd as that sounds
I don't use it for notifications as I've heard this feature isn't great, but I don't really want that
The GPS is pretty accurate and it is comfortable to wear
It's simple and had all the features I was looking for and has great battery life, but, that means nothing when it's paired with crappy gps connections
1) Sufficient wrist HR readings when needed, 2) BT connectivity for chest strap HR monitors (I use a Wahoo TickrX) for more precise readings during training, 3) accurate GPS
Great information to help me train and the GPS was scary accurate
The GPS is a bit slow to connect, but reasonably precise
To summarize, while Polar makes good products and generally delivers on the advertised specs, I though my M200 was designed on the cheap side and is NOT representing a good value given the available alternatives
I did my research before I bought it, and I do believe that is is good value for money!.

And it is the best value of the 3 with gps, waterproof to 30 meters, backlight display, etc
I wear the watch loose unless running, so I don't think I've used it unusually

Works well but after 2 runs the battery's die out mid-run
Relatively accurate heart rate while running, however, has issues monitoring a heart rate with cross training exercises that require bending of the wrist (push-ups, pull-ups, rowing)
the M200 is a decent running watch lacking a few features (3/4 line display, auto pause, cadence) that would make it good
It will eventually catch up and record the right heart rate, but by then I'm half way done.

Heart monitor works great

but so far I'm not convinced (for me at least) that optical heart rate monitoring is accurate enough to be a useful training tool
When you're training for an upcoming race, those numbers are pretty important and I couldn't justify keeping this watch, knowing that I couldn't rely on it for training for any future races

If you are an athlete or just someone who wants to track their activity I would highly recommend this product

I liked this product while I was training for a marathon, but learned while actually running the marathon that the battery life is less then 5 hours
I highly recommend this product for its built in GPS and HR features and its affordable price makes it a great bargain
Thank you Polar and Finland - for a solid product and strong app that goes along with it.
