This strap only gives an accurate reading for a few months, and then it starts giving extremely inaccurate readings, jumping all over the place and then finally settling in at a really high heart rate.

With other straps I've had the common problem of erratic readings even after making sure they were wet and, um, ...shaving my chest at the contact points.

I got this because after about 6 months of generally flawless operation, my old soft strap purchased with an H7 transmitter started giving me erratic readings

Had to replace the chest strap that came with that as I was getting very erratic readings

intermittent readings.
