No power needed if your phone supports usb-c to usb-c, like the Samsung Note 10 Plus

The port selection on the rightside of the screen allows for many connection options; I personally use usb for power and hdmi for display, but I've tested the USB-C to USB-C power+display connection with my phone and it worked well

The monitor now only periodically works, even when plugged in to a USB-C as well as a separate power port.
