The unit's DC-DC converter stage has 48 IRFB1010E MOSFETs which are pushed to the edge of failure by a bad gate driver circuit that does not supply enough voltage to the MOSFET gates and doesn't seem to have any practical low input voltage protection

Quick update, the A/C actually sucks about 4,600 watts for a good 10 seconds before it drops down to regular watt at 890 watts.
