well do not buy this unit ..just bought a 2200 and i called florida to see if i could get some help..the guy on the phone could care less...did not ask for my name phone or email

I liked the unit because it had a remote control making it easier than opening the bunk to turn on the replaced unit

Initially the unit worked when powering a fridge as an initial test.

Also the unit makes a clicking noise when started which seems to be tied the the amount of power being used after some time it does seem to go away

We installed this unit and it worked for about 1 year then stopped working

dumb move .. stick to the heavy duty more dependable units at the truck stops and i promise you you will get more help at a truck stop..

however I would add that the 300W rating is certainly not a continuous rating and thus I would expect the unit to begin to warm even at moderate load after 5-10 hours of use

I'm an electrical engineer and knew better, but I'm VERY disappointed this expensive unit did not have any fused protection or reset breaker!

I owned this for about 4 months and likely only have 2 hours total run time, this unit started smoking and would not turn off
