It is fantastic! So supple and buttery soft

Not only is my static gone, but the bass response is enhanced and there is additional sound dampening from the motor, as well

The overwhelming majority of reviewers (myself included) even swear it makes their records sound better

I hand cut each piece which enables me to work around natural flaws, bumps, nicks, and fluctuations in thickness to create a uniform, defect free mat

I punch the center hole slightly smaller to create a tight fit warding off any mat slippage

With my setup, I like to use the leather grain side up

Through this process, I believe I’ve found what works best, and most importantly, what SOUNDS best
