but consider different time zone.you will get a respond ,but some times is really great to be able to talk to some one and not to worried about whether is close.over all I totally recommend this board
I really do love this board! Here are some of my favorite Highlights
I've used Yam M7s, LS-9s, and other digital boards, and while this board is not quite as robust as the larger boards out there, it's still pretty amazing
If you learn to appreciate the compactness and options that it offers, you will learn to accept "Scrolling through menus" and "Selecting Channels" to have your options.
withe possibility of remote control with Ipads and Ipods is a fantastic option!
There are much better options out there now, like the Qu series and others.

received this product yesterday....love it!.....you can actually hear the distinctive difference between this and any other mixer on the market....the best investment so far!must have a laptop of desktop with firewire to use the capture feature on this device
I've worked with high-end both digital and analog boards, and this honestly is the best product I have seen
I'm still weighing if I should repair or just scrap it and move to a better product

This has been awesome, and only once did we feel that we needed to change the actual mix (turning up the vocals trim inputs a tad, which was essentially a global change so we could still keep the mixes unchanged)Other good stuff: Clean and quiet.
PreSonus has lots of great videos out there to help you get started (watch the 16.4.2 or 24.6.2 videos, as all these studio live mixers are really about the same, give or take.)Having said all hat good stuff
The not-so good stuff:-Trim levels aren't saved.

And the tech support, at over 2 days, to tell me 'you can't monitor the output level or EQ in the cans
Presonus' Tech support was pretty good, but they confirmed there's a bug that changes all your Aux Pre/Post settings when you restore a backup file of your saved mixes from your computer.

Presonus does a great job of getting away with not needing moving faders.
It does that job well
I now use this primarily for my band, and since we've had a lot of trouble, and/or expense, in finding good audio engineers on a consistent basis, this board really does a great job for this particular situation.

Only 24bit 48Khz A/D conversion (though fine for me..
My initial concerns were the 24/48 A/D conversion not being good enough for recording and the fact that they board does not have inserts on each channel.

The Ability to save channel presets! The 31 band EQ on the Main outputs is a very nice feature
It's got some great features
I can safely say though that 24bit 48 Khz is proving to be absolutely adequate for my recording needs and I am actually rather pleased that the Fat Channel features allow me to operate without needing to have inserts on each channel.
