Reviews around set (5.00 of 5)

  • I love the setting of Talos 1 and that the game allows you to pretty much explore where you want
  • The difficulty even on the easiest setting, is not for the novice new to FPS's
  • This and the exploration factor along with the amazing setting is what made Prey awesome in my opinion.
  • Talos 1 is a fantastic setting for a videogame and it does give you that Rapture like feeling when walking around.
  • You are still processing what to do, probably opening your weapon menu, while the enemy is just absolutely destroying you, even on the easiest setting

Reviews around graphic (5.00 of 5)

  • Fun game once you get the hang of it, has a few jumpscare moments which makes it fun, the graphics are good, the one problem I have is with the shotgun pack because you have to be online to use it even after you get it and save and everything
  • Really fun game with awesome graphics, me and my girlfriend play side by side and have an amazing time, great customization and choice of perks.
  • The graphics are good and very similar to Dishonored 1/2, it must use the same engine
  • The graphics are great and the story is interesting but this game is plagued by the worst combat I have ever had the misfortune of playing.
  • Its graphics are consistent and beautiful and for me is a great game

Reviews around ability (5.00 of 5)

  • it has a well designed world, strong ability to interact and navigate in the evironment, good enemy
  • From recycling trash so can you can use stuff for anything, scanning species to see what makes them tick, & using neuromods to grant yourself amazing abilities Human or Typhon
  • Why do they have needles in neuromods to shove stuff into my eye just to gain an ability?
  • I love the storyline and the ability to choose your own ending based on your mission / side missions during the game
  • The human skills include the ability to lift heavy things, increase durability, upgrade weapons and the like

Reviews around storyline (4.21 of 5)

  • The storyline is not half as good as it seems to think it is, and the combat is severely lacking
  • The mechanics of the game play are simple and understandable, the details are impressive, and the storyline is pretty amazing
  • I love the storyline and the ability to choose your own ending based on your mission / side missions during the game
  • So, if you want bullets for that shotgun, be careful you don't spend all your resources making something else!Storyline was good, not great

Reviews around experience (4.03 of 5)

  • This game is full of wonder and intrigue, as it amalgamates many of the unique attributes from other sci-fi games into a thrilling new experience
  • I space station alongside the mysterious Typhon enemies provide an invigorating experience
  • This combined with an issue I've seen where a fully maxed out weapon just disappeared, has made this game a frustrating experience.
  • so it's a very lonely experience
  • Too much reading for me, but a great experience overall

Reviews around play (3.75 of 5)

  • Definitely worth a play through especially with its discounted pricing (circa 2018) on the PS4.
  • I enjoyed it while playing, but as a person who does lots of side quests in games like these, it almost seemed to end before it began
  • This is one of the most frustrating games I've ever played in my
  • Well worth playing for anyone looking for an out of the box unique game
  • FPS play is straight garbage, you wont understand how bad the control is unless you play the

Reviews around weapon (3.75 of 5)

  • Since I preordered the game I received a unique shotgun, the Mangrave, which I have to tell you, is a very effective weapon; especially fully upgraded.
  • I am about halfway through the game and acquired all the different weapons available at this point and my advice is invest heavily into your shotgun and gloo cannon early on with weapon upgrage kits and neuromods in the Engineer category
  • The enemies are too difficult to kill, the weapons are too underpowered through half the game, and the bullets are too scarce
  • You must learn enemy weaknesses, which you can do using tools in the game, which allows you to use the best weapons against enemies and to stay alive
  • Interesting weapons, pretty cool way to level your character via injecting yourself

Reviews around prey (3.70 of 5)

  • Prey has no shortage of things to do, but it's just not fun to do most of them
  • The new Prey has many problems
  • In terms of game play, Prey is much more like System Shock, which was one of my all-time favorite games!
  • I really want to love Prey and at some points of the game, you will too
  • If you like Fallout 4 you'll like Prey, especially if you are a fan of sci-fi.

Reviews around bioshock (3.61 of 5)

  • I love Bioshock, Dishonored, Deus Ex, and Dead Space, and this game reminds me of all those games.
  • Anyone who likes Bioshock and/or Dishonored should feel right at home here.
  • And the mixed gameplay of Dead Space and Bioshock made this experience worthwhile.
  • Like Dead Space and Bioshock, but still different.
  • Although the game feels similar to other games like Dead Space, Bioshock, System Shock, and Dishonored, Prey's conception of the

Reviews around thing (3.22 of 5)

  • This game is almost impossible to complete through brute force - and that's usually a good thing because it forces you to think around the problem, but in this case thinking around the problem became clunky and cumbersome.
  • The greatest thing this game does though is its sound design and soundtrack
  • A but too many, notes, books and the like to read, which tend to slow things down a bit too much
  • While the monsters get repetitive and respawn quite often this allows you to collect material to make more items in replicators through the space station, thus allowing you to do more killing; never a bad thing.
  • Echoes of Bioshock and System Shock 2, which is a good thing

Reviews around space (1.73 of 5)

  • I encourage any and all who love space themed sci-fi to check this game out
  • Really cool space travel, and very few times where a clock is ticking down, so you can feel free to explore and gather items and take your time...or blast your way through if you like
  • Although the game feels similar to other games like Dead Space, Bioshock, System Shock, and Dishonored, Prey's conception of the
  • It really does have similarities to the first two Bioshock games and the first Dead Space
  • I love Bioshock, Dishonored, Deus Ex, and Dead Space, and this game reminds me of all those games.

  • There's intrigue, good combat and stealth, an element of horror, and lots and lots to explore
  • I couldn't even read the overwhelming amount of emails or listen to the tape recorder stories cause the lame combat kept interrupting me
  • The graphics are great and the story is interesting but this game is plagued by the worst combat I have ever had the misfortune of playing.

Reviews around typhon (1.00 of 5)

  • I space station alongside the mysterious Typhon enemies provide an invigorating experience
  • The Typhon are creepy but become nothing more than an annoyance late game with the right mods and upgraded weapons.
  • I ran into an invisible typhon, and I completely freaked out, my headphones makes the enemies sound like they're are coming from everywhere lol
  • One of the few games I actually needed to wear headphones so that I could hear whether or not there were any sneaky Typhon skulking about

  • If you like System Shock, Bio Shock, or even something like Alpha Protocol or Metal Gear Solid, a so called "thinking
  • It is kinda of like Bio Shock combined with Dead Space elements
  • Feels very much like playing Bio Shock, which is one of my all time favorite games, with controls and battle interactions
  • A lot of people call it "Bio-shock in space" and while that is appropriate, its also a bit reductive as Prey differentiates itself enough through world-building, mechanics and setting

Reviews around guy (1.00 of 5)

  • This game is like a scifi BioShock Infinite, and I hated that game too because the bad guys were so hard to dispatch.
  • I got the point of having a choice between incapacating the bad guy or stopping him another way
  • The missions are fairly straight forward but, again, when you have to leave an area for part of the objective, then re-enter the area just to have the big bad guys you just killed back in your way, it just sucks all the fun out of it.
