The Liberty is the quietest of the bunch though not entirely the most free flowing, but none of them feel like an open trumpet
Both are free flowing and cut sound production down to nill.
The bottom line is if you want to be quieter with better flow get something like the Silent Brass, if you're looking for something less expensive this is a good option.
I ended up drilling 2 more holes on the sides and one centered on the top it still mutes just as well but has better air flow

I purchased it for my third year band student and it has been a good product so far.
The Silent Brass product, which I also own, is vastly inferior in terms of air flow.
But even as a novice with no requirements for good quality, this particular product stood out as inferior to buying nothing, I would recommend buying the cheapest of another brand.
As practice mutes go it is surprisingly free blowing, even more than my expensive Yamaha Silent Brass system
Much more pleasant to practice for longer periods with this mute than with something larger and heavier like the Silent Brass.

I have other practice mutes; the Don Maslet, the original Yamaha Silent Brass and a home made "Renuzit" mute (made from the air freshener plastic housing)
I think the Best Brass is a hair quieter but not enough to warrant another $70 in cost
I can now play my trumpet without my wife complaining in the next room.
The price is great and it does what it's supposed to do- quiet down a VERY loud trumpet.
The trumpet still sounds good with the mute on so that's a plus
While the mute is nice and compact, stays in the Trumpet well, is very quiet and is well made, unless you are a person who can very easily control your breathing, the back pressure is very high.
This mute has very good sound and mutes trumpet enought not to bother neighbours
