Now, there are other alternatives that could have done the above but not at the crisp sound quality of Bose

Bose's S1 Pro Bluetooth speaker system is an excellent product for a multitude of scenarios.

The fact that it's portable and can last several hours also recommends it as a great amp for buskers!Vocals also sounded good through the amp, and could punch through accompaniment in a live setting quite well

Bought for Bluetooth access to music from my iPhone, but have also found this to be an excellent practice amp for bass guitar (Fender American Deluxe 5-String Jazz bass).

It also has simple and intuitive controls, exceptional build quality, and wonderful sound quality

It's compact, the internal battery is a life saver, and it is very well built and easy to carry with the molded handle

I love the built in battery and it lasts a long time even at moderate volume

The number one best feature of this PA is that it will do A LOT of stuff really well

Now since I've never dealt with a PA system before this may be a standard feature, but what I found a thoughtful feature is the volume buttons are on the side of the unit for super easy access

This speaker can accomplish that, but plugging it into the studio output mix and I realize that it’s as good as a ~$150 studio monitor with a 6” woofer at 4x the cost

If you want a portable monitor speaker to power your parties, or a monitor speaker to amplify your own music, performed either solo or in a reasonable level ensemble, this is one speaker you should definitely audition.

This isn't a bad unit for a portable speaker system, but $600 is a lot of money for what you get.

Put it on a stand, right behind you (for solo artists), and it works almost as well as a Bose L1 Compact.

No surprise, since I already tested it with Bluetooth music source, but this thing can get loud

This is an excellent PA system.

It would also be great as a PA for a fundraiser at a park.

It might not get as loud as some PA speakers but this is much more versatile and plain sounds better.
