BTW - mastery aside, ukeleles are much easier to learn than guitar, especially for little hands.

This is a wonderful kit to buy as a beginner, intermediate or "beach/camping" ukulele player who wants to try a tenor size uke.

I’m a novice uke player and this was the perfect shape and the intrument have a lovely wood color and design

The finish is a nice matte wood that doesn't look toy-ish at all.

I have received a few emails and my re ire is this is not too bad for a beginner and love the wood !

In one spot, the listing stresses the acoustic superiority of sapele (a less expensive variety of mahogany) to laminate, which surprised me, as I would not expect solid wood in an inexpensive instrument

the wood and polish look very rich and don't look cheap at all - keeps in tune - fullyw enclosed all-metal tuning gears - includes Aquila nylgut strings (these make all the difference in sound and play) - frets are well placed, smooth, and the right height for fast chording - the slightly rounded back helps make the sound rich and quite loud without sounding tinny or cheapCons

I would have given it all stars, but the tuners were rattling

I liked the gray bag and the tuner is easy to use and works well

My big and only issue for now (and I have since updated my review) is that the strap that is included, was confusing and didnt look like the correct product as it didn't apear to have a place to attach to the uke

The customer service has been great also – had a little trouble figuring out the strap and they got right back to me.

Nor was I expecting quality accessories (although the tuner appears to be as accurate and user-friendly as my Snark tuner)
