i love the abalone style and the medium picks are just the right thickness for me.

The thickness is great for hard strumming, and they rarely break (compared to nylon picks which break easily).

The greater thickness has marginally improved my playing, better articulation on scales and cross-picking

For a while they were made overseas and the quality was not as good

The Fender Heavy pics are nice and sturdy in my fingers, and I don't like the lighter kinds (including the Fender, and other brand's, lights & mediums) that ended up flying out of my hands when I'm playing, and they sounded tinnier, & more like a bad piece of cardboard, instead of a quiet, unnoticeable pic sound, or the professional pic sounds that pop out, now and then, and is perfectly ok to have

What else can I say about them, but that they are great pics and I'd buy again.

I seem to lose picks daily (which is probably the same issue for most people) these are great quality pics.

These are genuine Fender picks and you really do get what you pay for.

The D'Andrea are good, better than the newly manufactured (in China) made Fender picks, but not as good as the Fender medium picks from last decade

For over 50 years I used Fender 351 THINS as a Surf player or Mediums when I broke so many thins.......these are the PERFECT compromise.

And it makes, no cardboard, no plasticky yucky sound, just the strings come through like a clear song

The Planet Waves picks all seem to be a little muddy-sounding

I only use thin picks as I use them on a classical guitar and don't like the way thicker picks sound.

Keep in mind also what you want for your criteria, like a loud or soft sound, and you'll find the best pic brands & styles for you
